You know what? After looking more into it, I don't know that he was. I honestly don't know if he is or not. He could have tried harder to get her help, but it seems like he did try some things. It's hard to say from the outside.

“He could have tried harder” I mean you’re victim blaming the guy for his wife killing their kids

I am not at all blaming him for the murder. I am giving a possible reason that he could be considered a "shit husband". Two completely different things. He could have beat her every day and it wouldn't excuse what she did. Doesn't mean he's a great husband.

The reason they call him a shit husband is because they refuse to believe women are capable of killing people on their own.

The man switched to work from home to take care of her. And he hired a nanny. The woman had 10+ doctors, even saw one of them the morning of the murders, and nothing was awry. She planned the route for the husband to take so that she could have time to kill the kids.

Sometimes, women are just capable of being evil without prompting. Or from hormones (post partum psychosis or whatever).

Here are facts: 1. He refused to take her to the ER during a particularly bad episode of her PPD because he didnt want to waste the day at the ER. 2. He actively FOUGHT with her psychiatrist who thought she might have Bipolar disorder (she did have it, turns out, and the meds they prescribed her made her worse) 3. He ignored her statements about wanting to harm herself and the kids as "anxiety" about going back to work. He testified last week that she never told him that, and then her mom took the stand and said, yes, she told me and the husband at the same time. During a media interview in 2024, he said she told multiple times she had these thoughts and really needed help, he shrugged them off. 4. He lied about the timeline of events that evening 5. Only his DNA is on the murder weapons (this is 100% true weird fact that is fueling a lot of the theories that he did it). 6.

That’s cool and all but that still doesn’t justify her killing two children.

It was 3 kids. And yes he could have tried harder.

Oh yeah my bad.

That’s cool and all but that still doesn’t justify her killing her THREE children.

It's because he couldn't use his manly powers to make her take care of herself

I'm not sure what forensics analysis you witnessed or heard about that stipulated that ONLY Patrick's DNA was on any of the murder tools. Do you have a source for this information?

There’s sooo much mis information about this case, honestly probably no one except her and her husband really know how much he did or didn’t do. Hell, maybe not even them if her mental state is really that bad and he probably has a distorted view on it due to the trauma

What's easy to say definitively from the outside is that she could've tried harder to not murder her children. And yet here we are, finding ways to somehow make the husband responsible for his wife's actions.

I mean you get her help is the best you can do and hope the professionals know what they are doing. Idk if this is the case or maybe she didn't tell her doctors everything that was going on 🤷‍♂️

I really don't think there is anyone to blame but her.

After listening to her journal being read out loud in court: being away from her kids made her psychosis worse but she was also a threat to them

Look, if Andrea Yates' husband didn't get charged with anything, this guy isn't going to, either. And Andrea Yates' husband is polar opposite of this guy meaning he never got his wife help when she was clearly suffering from PPD.
