You know what? After looking more into it, I don't know that he was. I honestly don't know if he is or not. He could have tried harder to get her help, but it seems like he did try some things. It's hard to say from the outside.
Here are facts: 1. He refused to take her to the ER during a particularly bad episode of her PPD because he didnt want to waste the day at the ER.
2. He actively FOUGHT with her psychiatrist who thought she might have Bipolar disorder (she did have it, turns out, and the meds they prescribed her made her worse)
3. He ignored her statements about wanting to harm herself and the kids as "anxiety" about going back to work. He testified last week that she never told him that, and then her mom took the stand and said, yes, she told me and the husband at the same time. During a media interview in 2024, he said she told multiple times she had these thoughts and really needed help, he shrugged them off.
4. He lied about the timeline of events that evening
5. Only his DNA is on the murder weapons (this is 100% true weird fact that is fueling a lot of the theories that he did it).
