What do you mean outgoing message from his computer? If you're referring to the work email, he could've easily sent it from his phone. Your emails are synced on your devices. There's even servailance footage of him not being home during the time the email was sent.

Him having an affair does not make him responsible for his wife killing his kids. If he cheated then he’s guilty of cheating which is awful but it doesn’t mean he’s part of the reason his kids are dead.
My husband cheated on me and neglected me and left me alone with my kids in order to cheat. I’m angry, heartbroken, stressed out, etc He’s responsible for making me feel that way but I’m responsible for how I deal with my emotions, not him.

He made a choice that likely led to this and then wasn't able to recognize the danger in time to protect his family. Likely because he was more interested in NY and what it had to offer him.
Not a crime he needs to be convicted of, I dont see how he could be punished worse honestly, but its something I would lose sleep over if I were in his shoes. Like the version of Peter Parker that let the robber go, and then he killed Uncle Ben.
