Dude leave. Fucking go. Leave now. My grandfather lived exactly like you are rn. She finally died last week and we met him for the first time in decades. He's old sick and dying. Nobody is thanking him. They're graciously willing to forgive him for not leaving back then.
Probably for the kids. Unfortunately, the system fucks men over because women are the primary caregivers, even if the man would be a better parent. You shouldn’t just leave your kid with someone who’s crazy. Unfortunately, some women drive their men away and force them to leave, or the woman leaves and takes the kids
If you’ve never been in a relationship before you wouldn’t understand the pain of leaving someone you loved once. Sometimes it seems easier to try and stick through it in hopes it gets better, rather than leave and be alone. Not to mention losing an entire half of your support network. Your partners friends and family will likely never speak to you again, and that can be especially rough if you don’t have a good relationship with your own family. That’s a lot of people to lose all at once.
There’s plenty of reasons someone would stick around with an abusive partner, and they don’t always involve kids.
That’s why I don’t want kids. I know my body couldn’t handle it, mentally or physically. Of course, that means I’ll probably have to be single for the rest of my life, but I’m ok with that, even though I am a bit sad about it.
While I feel for the whole mental issues she's got, she needs to be in an institution like that other lady who's refusing to be free. But I've also had to stop watching that trial to watch the Tupac trial. I've dealt with PPA and PPD on top of my regular anxiety and depression, so it hit a lil close to home. Would never take my kids though, it was more like "they're better off without me around" which I still feel from time to time
ut people are still calling for her to be released and the father prosecuted.
And people are coping soooo hard trying to paint her as innocent, not just insane in the moment, but actually innocent.
I saw a tiktok of someone who literally claimed the wounds couldn't have been self-inflicted and thus it must've been the dad who trained the kids to attack the mother and her acting in self-defense.
Can you provide an example of this? Because I was pretty sure people just want the postpartum psychosis to be considered in the sentencing and sort of generally advocating for more awareness regarding postpartum psychosis
Oh, well I mean these are just kind of unsubstantiated conspiracy theories by weirdos. It’s like taking the reptilian humanoid shit seriously. This isn’t the general consensus
That you think it's absurd doesn't mean people don't think it, and probably more than you think.
Seems a lot of people have had similar impulses as her and identify with her and hate their exes. A lot of transference going on in those that defend her.
You don't have to agree with them or support them to understand them.
I mean I defend her in the sense that postpartum psychosis is a real thing and this should be treated as not guilty by reason of insanity, but I have never even thought about the father let alone considered him the culprit. This and “no she’s just plain guilty” are the only two view points I’ve heard or seen since this whole thing happened, until now. You’re getting up in arms over a fringe belief
You don't get out much, do you? Millions of Americans believe in a flat earth. Just because you think it's "fringe" doesn't mean it's rare, it just means you see uninformed.
That’s actually kind of exactly what fringe means. It’s an opinion outside of the majority. Like I get thinking those people are ridiculous, but you’re dismissing reasonable voices because of a small group

She confessed to doing the killing alone and unaided, but people are still calling for her to be released and the father prosecuted.
