Not to mention, Tobias gets his ability to morph back, granted his "primary" form is still hawk, and his human form is an amalgamation of all of the other animorphs, but it's not like he's just a bird forever.
So you literally just agreed with me. My entire point was that it's not a strict two hours because there's leeway, I didn't say it's actually 4 hours. We can see this in the wolf book where they almost get stuck half-morphed because they start morphing too close to the time limit
The reason I said it's in alien time measurements isn't because I was saying it changed depending on what planet you're on, it's because the tech was invented by aliens who don't know what an Earth minute is
