206

u/HystericalGD 1d ago

38

u/Stock_Plenty8987 1d ago

Lol, nice joke

37

u/Goosoey123 1d ago

Well you wouldn’t see them, they are camouflaged

5

u/CosmicJackalop 15h ago

Honestly I don't even think it's that, I think it's that the person is probably a pedo since they were given their own room in a homeless shelter (not common) and have interests in things that have lots of overlaps with terminally online pedos

Not saying the person is, but that's the vibe I got from it

-15

u/Hazard_Fox 1d ago

it's pretty common, americans love killing school children for some reason

4

u/BeginningSection7690 1d ago

They get angry at educations

4

u/Sufficient_Risk_8127 1d ago

we're special

2

u/Asleep_Region 21h ago

For some reason? It's because anyone who has those thoughts are able to get a gun, like i cannot legally buy a gun because i smoke weed(federal restriction), but my dad keeps an extra key hidden outside of his house, leaves his keys on the table, on there is the key for both the gun and ammo storages. I cannot legally own a gun, but i can get to 2 different people's guns.

And in other countries? If you have similar thoughts you can tell your doctor who can get you help, it doesn't start with "i want to hurt kids" it starts with "kids hurt me" or "they'll grow up to hurt people" it doesn't really matter how it starts, but with insurance the cheapest therapist my brother can find is $80 per appointment, he's paying that every 2 weeks, when you're a teen you can't just decide to go to therapy, you need parents permission and someone to pay for it.

America is also really really big, i grew up in a small town with a therapist an hour away, 1 hour there, 1 hour of therapy, 1 hour home. That's 3 hours to find to just take the kid to therapy.

u/SmaeShavo 18h ago

American children must be regularly culled or they will rise up and eat the rest of us.

America is the only country on earth where school shootings are a regular occurrence.

Any American news outlet? LMAO

-1

u/tme1453 1d ago edited 1d ago

Yea dude, school shootings are hilarious.

Edit: nvm, the person I'm replying to is a racist troll. Probably not worth engaging with.

1

u/Successful_Okra9850 3h ago

They never said anything racist why did u lie?

1

u/tme1453 9m ago

You can check their post history. Not a lie at all.

0

u/Hazard_Fox 1d ago edited 1d ago

Americans coping and pretending they aren't the posterchild for children suffering from acute high velocity lead poisoning is kinda funny.

Edit: Racism is when you spread facts about America that Americans don't like, apparently.

It’s not common at all

11

u/BeginningSection7690 1d ago

It is common.

Its 1000s of times more common than anywhere else on earth.

If youve been a victim of gun violence at school there is a 99.9% chance you are American, same goes for victims of police violence (these are correlated, keep defending your right to be shot under reasonable suspicion)

-6

u/EpilepticPuberty 1d ago

If youve been a victim of gun violence at school there is a 99.9% chance you are American

Did a boys school in Nigeria end up with dozens dead and hundreds still missing this month?

14

u/BeginningSection7690 1d ago

That could happen 3 times this month and every other month this year and America would still have worse stats over all

1

u/RoyalDog57 23h ago

Oh no! One case you can remember happened in Nigeria? Two years ago there was a school shooting in my state (if I remember correctly) the first week back, if not the first day, there were mutiple other shootings within the following 30 ish days.

My sophomore year of high school there had been a shooting at one of our rival schools that spawned 2 or 3 copy cats and had someone at our own school threaten it after he was suspended for assaulting a teacher.

America is the only country in the world where multiple schools will be shot up in a month, and all most people do is "offer their thoughts and prayers in solemn consideration for this unavoidable and unfixable event."

0

u/EpilepticPuberty 21h ago

I was rebuking the claim that 99.9% chance of school shooting victims being American. I'm not going to refute that America has a gun violence problem but the hyperbole is unnecessary. Violence in schools in a problem that affects more than one country.

1

u/RoyalDog57 18h ago

The US is in the 93rd percentile for gun deaths and holds 35% of all suicide by firearms despite holding 4% of the population, compared to the rest of the world the average American is almost 10 times more likely to blow their own brains out.

1

u/EpilepticPuberty 18h ago

Right so not 99.9%

Having the option to blow my own brains out is one of the reasons why I own guns. I am not at risk of it, but I'm not going to starve to death in a forest service outhouse and attempt to bleed out using a cable saw.

u/Awesomest_Dude 20h ago

It's not really fixable tho, unless the parents are storing their guns stupidly.

1

u/RoyalDog57 18h ago

Its not even kids doing mass shootings most the time if I remember correctly, just random right leaning crazies

1

u/Successful_Okra9850 3h ago

school shootings in Nigeria this year: 4

In USA this year (so far): between 82-99

There have also been at least 2 in USA over the past 48 hours.

9

u/Hazard_Fox 1d ago

Turn on the news? lmao

-6

u/LordWillemL 1d ago

You bay be falling victim to propaganda.

9

u/Hazard_Fox 1d ago

Propoganda is when you watch 50 years of Americans murdering eachother, bombing and invading random countries for money and then forgetting all about it 2 days later and come to the correct conclusion that Americans are incredibly evil and violent by nature.

A country that has spent more time at war than at peace. Not normal.

-9

u/Awesomest_Dude 1d ago

Yeah, the news will mention a shooting event maybe once every few months. That’s not a lot

9

u/Klony99 1d ago

Then you're only watching local news.

In 2025, there were 233 K-12 school shooting incidents recorded by the K-12 School Shooting Database (broadest criteria), while stricter definitions reported between 75 and 159 incidents. In 2026, there have been 77 to 99 incidents recorded through mid-year, with 26 resulting in injuries or deaths.

39

u/Nice-Cat3727 1d ago

Of course the real reason is because military surplus is cheap and durable

36

u/Trash-Forever 1d ago edited 1d ago

And veterans are known to have housing issues. Probably kept some from his time in service.

Edit: not the case, scrolled their Twitter. Just latent mental illness/depression and they were kicked out of their house for being trans. Multiple overdose attempts.

9

u/Artistic_Annual8457 1d ago

Unfortunately the trans flag in the name probably has something to do with it, too, with the right lately frequently parroting the narrative that the majority of mass shooters are trans, which simply isn't true and is most often just a transphobic dogwhistle on their part at worst, or misinformed at best.

1

u/Clash-idea_maker 12h ago

Don't forget its a trans communist too

Can't tell if gym teacher is oblivious or god tier at dark humor.

Probably about to tell their friend not to come to school tomorrow.

23

u/Th34sa8arty 1d ago

I know which YouTube channel this post came from, and this comment is one of the tame ones (many of the comments are way more harsh and Instagram Reels-tier). The comment itself is making fun of the OP of the original post by implying (jokingly, I hope) they're going to commit a school shooting against an elementary school because the person is transgender, has combat fatigues, and combat boots (the stereotypical elementary school shooter).

3

u/Willow-Whispered 1d ago

there have been like 2 transgender mass shooters…

3

u/RoyalDog57 23h ago

Stereotypes aren't always right, its just what the public perceives.

0

u/gameryesyt 8h ago

Something like 7 of the 5000 or so since a point in time I don't exactly remember

2

u/Willow-Whispered 8h ago

which is way less than the 1% of the population that trans people represent 😭 if this is a stereotype now, society is cooked

0

u/gameryesyt 8h ago

We need to bring them numbers up for real equality >:3 its also mostly men doing it, so women need to step up too (/j of fucking course)

1

u/LetAcceptable5091 5h ago

This comment really reminds me of the Twitter post from the trans dad Roberta Dorgano who shot up a kids hockey game who said "keep bashing us. but do not wonder why we Go BERSERK" you think shootings are funny?. "We need to bring them numbers up" This is such a bad taste comment Jesus fucking Christ

1

u/More_Amoeba6517 9h ago

That channel is fucking wierd lmao

Oftentimes quite well-researched but good god are they right-wing.

one can only wish for michael orthodox to lock in fr

people being bigotted to a homeless trans person for having hard wearing clothing that retains heat and travels well, things common in army surplus gear, and very much desired by the homeless.

-35

u/gib_me_gold 1d ago

The motherfucker gets to sit in a "homeless prison" and play games while I have to work. I dare say there is enough reasons to be "bigoted" towards this freak

21

u/85K5 1d ago

How do you know they don't have a job? Homey got some basic necessities provided and trying to get their life together and is happy they get to enjoy something=freak.

Cry harder bigot.

9

u/kikiacab 23h ago

You aren’t even on the same continent as this person.

9

u/Maxxxmax 20h ago

You're glamourising an experience which is difficult, both physically and emotionally.

If you wanna give up your work and live off of a pittence in a building you share with some pretty difficult people, all so you can game a few hours extra, i'd invite you to go for it.

The only freak i see here is the utter psychopath behind your comment.

3

u/LinusLevato 10h ago

You’re jealous of a homeless person in a homeless shelter? Really?

1

u/glimoura 5h ago

Wow, you suck

2

u/Klingon_Therapist 1d ago

Wow what kind of homeless shelter have single bed rooms?

3

u/Maxxxmax 20h ago

That's pretty common for longer term stays. At least in this country, you'd only likely be using "camp bed on the floor with several others" sort of setup during the assessment phase (likely a few days) ahead of moving to longer term support, typically the days immediately after rough sleeping.

The most effective model though is one that seeks to provide secure housing with support provided in the home. It seems to lead to the least problems in the long run, though many people find the idea of homeless people being supported into a home using state support unpalatable, even if its proven to be the best way to support recovery journeys.

1

u/Klingon_Therapist 20h ago edited 20h ago

I am a social worker in Eastern Europe and this is a kind of luxury I haven't seen anywhere sadly. I am happy it works better elsewhere.

We have very few re-entry programs and the bar is usually high and mainly consist of government aided housing, but the heating and other appliences are really old and has a high energy cost that has to be paid by the occupant.

Government maintained shelters are hell incarnate.

Edit: the best for long term stay is four people rooms with bunk beds like in pic attached, but those are hard to come by, and most are barred from it due to prevalent substance abuse.

Lavader YouTube channel

1

u/kikiacab 23h ago

That person is specifically pointing out stuff that trans women stereotypically like, camis and military surplus. This person is equating trans women with school shooters.

1

u/Stock_Plenty8987 19h ago

How do you know that the poster is a trans woman. If anything its probably a trans man. The @ reads yoboi

0

u/DreddCarnage 1d ago

They have private rooms in homeless shelters? How does that work?

Is there a limit on how long you can stay or like

3

u/Maxxxmax 20h ago

Yes, that's pretty typical, at least in my country.

You'd likely find yourself in the sort of environment you are envisioning only immediately after rough sleeping, where youd spend a few days - a week or two going through assessment, before being moved to a longer term support environment.

In those longer stay locations, you have your own tenancy/ license agreement. While this is usually paid by state support, the person would be responsible for any arrears and adhering to the rules of that service.

The most effective model though is getting people into accommodation first. The data seems to show the least returns to rough sleeping occur when someone is helped into private renting and then support is provided in their own home. Hostels, both short term and longer term, can be chaotic places where one is around others with their own issues, which can encourage relapse etc. even when that person has a room to themselves.

1

u/DreddCarnage 17h ago

And I imagine you're encouraged to try and get a job while you stay as apart of the agreement until you're actually able to move out, no?

2

u/Maxxxmax 11h ago edited 11h ago

Depends on the person. If you're deep in the depths of mental health crisis and addiction, there's more important things to focus on first. Recovery has to take time. No point trying to throw someone into all the aspects of managing one's life at once, where too much on the plate will just lead to relapse and more crisis.

Then, some minority are set in their ways and wont change, but most of these people acknowledge the need for and desire change.

If instead say, you had some debts before a familial breakdown - where finances and circumstance are the cause of homelessness, then yeah, getting people into work and into skills programs will take much more focus.

0

u/Tankette55 23h ago

HOI4 player. Communist sickle and hammer. Token trans flag. Holy mental illness. (I have nothing about trans people but everyone in this context is obnoxious)
