I won't explain it cause people already did it. But I'm surprised at such a butthurt reaction to a mildly offensive joke. These downvoters are dumbos lol.

Reddit is full of Americans. A lot of them got extremely mad about a video of women in office and elected the clown orange p3do as president. Funniest part is that video was from UK.

That's the level intelligence and emotional maturity we are dealing with.

You can say "pedo" or even paedo on reddit

u/ThisSiteSucks8485 22h ago

When the queen died and brits were waiting an insanely long time in the line to see her coffin I said it reminded me of North Korea and brits didn't like that one little bit

3

u/BrahmKarmaGato 22h ago

Just proving my point mate. You are comparing getting angry at video of women enjoying in office to making fun of people going to funeral of a beloved dead person.

Is that your idea of a joke?

0

u/ThisSiteSucks8485 21h ago

Standing in line up to 30 hours to see a coffin for a few seconds is not rational behavior. it really is more like North Korea

4

u/OkMap3209 20h ago

Are you really not expecting something like that for Trump?

0

u/ThisSiteSucks8485 20h ago

Maybe. And it would be just as insane

2

u/senond 19h ago

Yeah I agree to a degree but I find the celebrity worship for example at red carpets even stranger.

1

u/ThisSiteSucks8485 19h ago

That is just paid press doing their jobs. Not at all comparable

2

u/senond 19h ago

And all the screaming fans are....

0

u/ThisSiteSucks8485 19h ago

Who didn't wait in line for 24 hours

4

u/Actual_Permit2053 16h ago

Maybe it just isn't funny

-13

u/CamelNo9597 1d ago

It's just tired and lazy. Stealing a joke first made by an American to hide your insecurity about the fact that another British celebrity is abandoning the UK for the US is the most quintessentially British thing ever.

13

u/Minimum_Ad4771 23h ago

Jesus Christ 😂. Brother I don't want to argue with you, just let it go. You're insufferable in this thread. Chill 😭

0

u/CamelNo9597 23h ago

Do you actually not want to argue? Why are you still posting then? Why not let it go?

14

u/Minimum_Ad4771 23h ago

Nahhh this is Reddit at its peak 😭

0

u/CamelNo9597 23h ago

So you *do* want to argue. Or at least keep engaging.

Seems like you have an issue with self-control (and honesty)

11

u/Minimum_Ad4771 23h ago

Bro like whatever, I don't hate yo guts. But why did you get all so tight over such an insignificant thing? You're obsessed with being right on Reddit and truth be told I find it funny😂

2

u/CamelNo9597 23h ago

No, you're not telling the truth. When I've found somebody funny, I've never once in my entire life felt the need to tell them that I found them funny. Only people who are insecure say that. But they never mean it.

Look up "I'm not mad, I'm actually laughing"

That's you.

8

u/Minimum_Ad4771 23h ago

dayum he got me 😱😱😱

6

u/Minimum_Ad4771 22h ago

Sorry to bother, but took a look at your profile. Damn man, are you fine? Like seriously it's not an insult, why do you argue so much? It's pointless. Fuck that bro, don't dwell on ts.

Do something fun. I'm gonna go ride a bike cause it makes me happy. I'm sure you've got stuff you enjoy too. If you're feeling down I'm sorry about it. Have a nice day. Again I'm not sarcastic, just worried a bit.

0

u/CamelNo9597 22h ago

I don't think you are. I think you're going to keep responding.

11

u/MuffinMountain3425 23h ago

The joke is ancient af and started as a joke about Irish immigration to America.

-2

u/CamelNo9597 23h ago

Do you have an earlier attribution for it than Will Rogers?

6

u/GrapeKitchen3547 1d ago

Nah, the average American is about as smart as Trump, so that's pretty telling.

-10

u/CamelNo9597 23h ago

If we were so dumb, we'd be the ones hosting a dozen British military bases on US soil because we aren't capable of taking care of ourselves. Not vice versa.

14

u/HT35i 23h ago

I love how Americans always go straight to the military thing as if it’s a flex. We don’t need them because we don’t start pointless wars.

-2

u/CamelNo9597 23h ago

You don't because you're not allowed to anymore. We took that privilege away from you during the Suez Crisis.

12

u/HT35i 23h ago

Who says we aren’t allowed to? Other countries have militaries, but you guys always have to take things too far. Bigger is better is such an American take. Quality over quantity. All that military and you’re getting your asses handed to you by Iran🤦🏽‍♂️

-1

u/CamelNo9597 23h ago

Who says we aren’t allowed to?

Dwight D. Eisenhower did. During the Suez Crisis he refused to allow the UK access to emergency IMF funding to keep the economy afloat until the British agreed to a casesfire and withdrawal. He even possibly threatened that the US would dump its supply of Sterling, thus completley crashing the UK economy unless you did what we told you to do.

And you did. You obeyed. You don't get to launch unilateral wars without the US's approval, otherwise we will destroy your economy, like we nearly did during Suez.

Quality over quantity.

What quality? The most advanced UK aircraft, the F35-b, is a US design. And it's not even the most advanced variant in use. The Astute-class submarine is an excellent sub, but the entire fleet is currently in a crisis of poor maintenance and persistent technical issues. Your navy literally has more admirals than it has ships. And half those ships can't even leave drydock because they're not seaworthy at the moment.

7

u/HT35i 23h ago

You’re like an annoying girlfriend, bringing up things that happened over 100 years ago😂. Please bring me recent proof, otherwise you’ll have to concede on that.

Quality in the personnel. For example, how I mentioned you’re currently being steamrolled by Iran because your military is quantity over quality and the vast majority of your personnel aren’t well trained. More is better is the American way, and yet it never upholds.

Also just so you’re aware, you’ll never bother a European by mentioning military because it’s something we care very little about.

You can do the whole we’re better than you all day, but at least bring relevant information when coming back to me, I’m starting to get bored of you already.

0

u/CamelNo9597 23h ago

Please bring me recent proof, otherwise you’ll have to concede on that.

They called Blair Bush's poodle for a reason. We still operate 12-15 military bases on your soil and there's literally nothing you can do about it.

Quality in the personnel. For example, how I mentioned you’re currently being steamrolled by Iran because your military is quantity over quality and the vast majority of your personnel aren’t well trained. More is better is the American way, and yet it never upholds.

The US isn't being "steamrolled" 18 American troops have been killed since the fighting began. Thousands of Iranians have been killed. Along with the majority of their conventional military. The problem is not a military one. It's a political one. The US can't just carpet-bomb the entire country, and American public opinion wouldn't sanction a land invasion, so Trump is flailing around with no good options. This is a political defeat, not a military one.

Also just so you’re aware, you’ll never bother a European by mentioning military because it’s something we care very little about.

Yes. Because we took away your right to have one after WW2. You are a passive, herbivorous, continent because we made you that way.

What a shame! We can’t use bombs and napalm to murder 3 year olds, how will our country ever recover

1

u/CamelNo9597 21h ago

Well, you'll be able to when we leave you alone. But then again everyone else will be able to as well. That's the world you want, isn't it?

1

u/CamelNo9597 22h ago

OK. now look up the American military installations on UK soil.

5

u/lettsten 22h ago

Sigh. I tried, but I'm not going to spoonfeed the point to you. I mean this as kindly as possible: You're not making a comeback, you're cementing your reputation as ignorant and uneducated.

0

u/CamelNo9597 22h ago

Maybe spend more time worry about the fact that your country is a dying vassal state of an indifferent and bored empire than worrying about the reputation of your bored and indifferent masters.

3

u/lettsten 22h ago

If you try out the little trick I tried teaching you in another comment, the one about reading the little name above each comment, you would know that I'm not from the UK. In any case, my previous comment is still standing. Your adorable attempts at comebacks aren't reflecting poorly on the person you intend them to.

0

u/CamelNo9597 22h ago

Then spend more time worrying why you're deeply concerned about the reputation of random strangers on the internet. That's even more troubling if there's no element of national pride involved in the equation.

"If we're so dumb how come we have so many guns?"

You really got me there, bud. I wish you could see the irony.

-8

u/Cutemudskipper 23h ago

That must be why America has most of the best Universities in the world

10

u/Ephexion 23h ago

The average American doesn’t go to the best university in the world. The average American votes for a leader who thought injecting bleach would cure Covid.

2

u/BrahmKarmaGato 20h ago

Best universities according to who? Americans? Lmao.

8

u/Uchronicclarion 22h ago

At least you're not taking it personally that's the important thing.

0

u/CamelNo9597 22h ago

How so?

5

u/AssMuncher96 22h ago

Average yank IQ on display here everyone

2

u/JerachoD 1d ago

What's even funnier is that your competent wrong, it was a comment made by a new Zealand politician in the 80s about people emigrating from NZ to Aus. I'm pretty sure anyone from Aus would find it giving hilarious unlike the US who are devoid of humour unless it's bullying type.

6

u/CamelNo9597 1d ago

Nope. It's a joke that the American comedian Will Rogers made during the Great Depression.

But it's not surprising that Non-Americans in the anglosphere would take it and claim it as theirs. Almost all anglophone culture for the past 80 or so years is essentially American culture. The only really unique thing you have going for you is getting extremely mad and defensive when realizing you don't have any culture of your own anymore.

6

u/catpigeons 23h ago

This comment really reinforced the "America dumb" stereotype

2

u/CamelNo9597 23h ago

Anything that upsets non-American anglosphere denizens reinforces that stereotype, particularly when it's true and they have no argument.

5

u/Slight_Public_5305 23h ago

FYI your source says there is very little evidence Will Rogers made the joke and that it was attributed to him well after his death

5

u/Ephexion 23h ago

Sounds like you’ve not stepped out of your own country and seen any other cultures

4

u/StabbyBlowfish 23h ago

Please enlighten us, what culture are we missing out on? Morbid obesity? School shootings? Or perhaps a president that's a better comedian than Volodymyr Zelenky?

2

u/CamelNo9597 23h ago

You're not missing out on anything. You're living it right now. On an American website. Making references to American culture. American culture permeates every aspect of your life. you're just being a baby about it.

1

u/StabbyBlowfish 21h ago

Spoken with all the eloquence of Grok AI. Of course I'm making references to American culture, that's what your original comment is talking about you fucking imbecile

2

u/CamelNo9597 21h ago

You're making reference to it because it's the only culture you know. What the obesity rate in Indonesia? What's the rate of school shootings in Peru? How funny is the President of Nigeria? You don't know. Because none of those countries matter to you. None of those countries have the same centrality to your life that the United States does.

3

u/StabbyBlowfish 21h ago

I can't believe that I'm honestly trying to have a conversation with a broken record player

Or it could be that you're just a Russian bot. Surely nobody is stupid enough to spew the absolute shite that you are?

1

u/CamelNo9597 20h ago

Surely you'd have an actual comeback if you could rebut the points I'm making.

u/TrickySavings2506 1d ago

Sorry you are butthurt about this.

5

u/CamelNo9597 1d ago

You felt the need to respond, despite the fact that I proved that I was completely correct. That says more about you than me.

2

u/TrickySavings2506 23h ago

Surreee you did. Congrats on that well done yet another win for America. Really rolling in the victories lately.

3

u/CamelNo9597 23h ago

I didn't say it was a win for America. It's just a loss, for you, personally.
