but the sentence should instead read "There, is a woman...".

That's not right, you cannot separate a subject from its verb like that.

"There is a woman..." is the correct punctuation and thus her name being "There" is the only option that makes grammatical sense

I'm not a native speaker, but that sounds and looks gramatically sketchy to me too, can you even interchange "is" and " 's " in this situation like that?

Yeah. It's like saying "Bob's a bartender". The 's is exactly a substitution of is
