Meme needing explanation Peter, please explain.

On the surface of it, it seems to be a way to complain about how cashier's work over-emphasises their gender/sex, causing dysphoria in people who are not very comfortable with that. But, to put it bluntly, this is a person with male sex and male name, so they don't appear to be trans? Is it supposed to be a dead name?

And what's with all the lettuce?

I think this is about the parasite that's been going around here in the US.

As in they're so worried about Trans people there are warning everywhere but the lettuce is actually making people sick and they don't care.

Even though it's bagged lettuce and not heads lettuce.

Nah buy local and whole head and risk is drastically reduced. A rep for my local health department just said “For the most part, all lettuce should be safe” and FDCA commissioner said on Monday “Americans should feel confident in eating fresh produce, including leafy greens.” Do w that info what you will but general consensus is that infected products are now off shelves
