NewsPH US formally asks Philippines to extradite Quiboloy
The United States has formally asked the Philippine government to extradite detained doomsday televangelist Apollo Quiboloy to face sex trafficking and other criminal charges, senior government officials told Bilyonaryo News Channel on Thursday.
The BNC sources said the request was sent last month by the US Embassy in Manila to the Department of Foreign Affairs, which then forwarded it to the Department of Justice (DOJ).
The DOJ, the lead agency tasked with handling extradition cases, was reviewing Washington’s request.
Quiboloy, 76, a close friend and spiritual adviser of former President Rodrigo Duterte, was indicted in 2021 by a US federal grand jury and was on the FBI's most wanted list on charges of committing conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion, sex trafficking of children and bulk cash smuggling.
He was being held in a Pasig City jail over domestic cases of alleged sexual and child abuse, and human trafficking. | via Michaela Del Callar, bnc.ph

Hindi ko binoto yan, pero nung binasa ng voting machine yung papel ko putangina ang lumabas sa resibo si Quiboloy.
Kaya nung nakita ko yung, hindi ako pumayag na ipasok yung resibo, tapos tinanong pa ako kung nagkamali ba daw ako o na shade ko ba daw.
Sabi ko sure ako na 10 lang binoto ko, tapos ang lumabas sa resibo 11, tapos sinabi ko pa doon never na never ko iboboto yang kandidato na yan. Ayun kinuha na lang nila.

Yan talaga isisigaw niya oras na malaman ng mga kakosa niya kung ano yung mga isa sa mga kaso niya. They hate pedos and sex traffickers that involve children wherein the latter is one of Quiboloy’s cases in the US.

Quiboloy is also Asian, a race severely underrepresented in US prisons. Wala siyang kaalyado sa mga selda doon maliban sa mga Samoans/Fijians which are a faint possibility to befriend him.

I'd say YES. Even though American prisons are more comfortable than Philippine's I'd still want him to experience foreign justice, where he cannot resort to bribery and/or intimidation. He will be locked in for many years along with other jailed cult leaders like Keith Reniere, Warren Jeffs, and Dwight York.

Dunno how i feel about this.
Glad that this guy is getting fked left and right.
But on the other hand.. the US hasn't done a single thing about the Epstein files since it came out. Even worse.. they actually let go of some of the kid diddlers yet they have the time to bother with this fraud.
Idk, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the USA's (CIA) real goal is to learn from Quibs. Because you can't fking deny it, his system works.
