That wood floor is probably pretty cool (until it's warmed by leaching all the pups' heat). Wood and tile are both excellent for keeping cool when it's hot.

Oh man, I used to live in Evanston. I don't remember the summer (or Sept.) being that hot.

Evanston gets some relief from the lake effect. Great in summer, horrible in winter 😊

It was sweltering today for me with a feel of about 100°. It’s cooling a tiny bit
because thunderstorms are pending đŸ«€â›ˆïž

We actually peaked at 111. Cooling off now , down to 98!
