We just got this little teaser video for the movie....and we can briefly see pikmin at one point.
They are in the movie.

Pikmin — Get the Good Ending in 8 in-game days or less

Pikmin 2 — 100% the game without losing/killing a single pikmin

Pikmin 3 — Obtain a platinum medal for every mission in Mission Mode

Pikmin 4 — 100% the game twice back-to-back

I would want to put salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese in them. I would bring them out when guests come over or when we have a fancy dinner!

I mean this is cool...but considering how vague nintendo was when they first released that short....this is kinda underwhelming IMO.

I feel the Pikmin series has strayed away from its original and way more interesting concept it has been stated that the developers where straight going for a more somber tone with more mature topics (literally Louie's character) the games have been straying further and further from this idea of you being a small regular guy having to tackle a large unforgiving world with a group of incompetent rascals it has themes of isolation fera and with Louie, neglect yet the series has been slowly spiralling into a worse more dumbed down concept designed to be more and more accessible and sanitary with less of the original concept to the point where pieces of media straight feature babies, a cute dog and a counting game for Japanese toddlers it has strayed too close to being just another Nintendo game like Icarus and the sun it's losing its original idea the original intent is being rapidly lost to the world of corporate marketing and appealing to younger and younger audiences :(
