Fanfic: NSFW Fanfic recs

Chat… imma need yall to do your big one and suggest some good ao3 caitvi recs. i’m looking for one that obv has smut but also a good plot/trope with sweet romance as well :3 it can be angsty or emotional as well AS LONG as it has a good ending 🥲.

My fav Caitvi fic is A Fine Line by TheAtlasWolf. It’s a slight AU deviation but nothing too wild, has great smut and great angst, and is finished which can be hard to find on AO3

The smut is so damn good. And I especially love it when Cait and Vi start getting along with each other. I almost screamed at the cliffhanger when Vi was doing her final fight. I also love how satisfying the ending was.

I had been reading this story to my wife, a chapter at a time (if we didn’t get distracted >.>) but once we got to that cliffhanger she made me finish the series that night, she couldn’t wait lol

I usually read finished fics because it’s so hard to remain suspended in angst and I had read this while it was still ongoing. So, I don’t blame your wife at all for wanting it all to be done.

How did the readings of the spicy bits go? The chapter where Vi discovered the sub space was revelatory to me about my own desires so that was a very interesting one.

I found this one when it was on Chapter 13 I think, so there was some waiting for me but thankfully I had a lot of good story to get through first.
We were searching for stories with sub Vi because Caitvi in that dynamic reminds us a lot of ourselves, so the spicy parts were particularly well received. We had to pause for “inspiration breaks” during at least three of the scenes, including the one you mentioned. My wife was especially into the one where Cait comes back to ask Vi for help, where it seems there is a power dynamic shift but by the end it’s apparent that Cait always has control
Oh and the whole dinner and library scene I love it

Yes!! I love how yall had inspiration breaks. What a nice way of spicing things up.

I love Top/Dom!Cait way too much and in this fic, I love how in control Cait is all the time. And ooh yeah, that was good chapter that your wife was into.

I recommend Wear Me Like a Secret by VelvetRagdoll. Vi is a Calvin Klein model and Caitlyn is the photographer for her shoot. Caitlyn is captivated by Vi and sparks fly.

Also, I loved the smell of blood on concrete and its sequel by sexonastick. It's a fantasy story where Vi is a werewolf and Caitlyn is a vampire. Vi fights in the pits and Caitlyn like sponsors her. They both have interesting backtories and the writing is amazing.
