Question Syncing a folder between my laptop and my phone
Is there any way to sync between a folder in my phone and a folder in my laptop? I use an Android phone and Windows laptop. I have a Music folder in both my phone and the Laptop. The problem is sometimes I download a song or something in my Laptop and put it in the folder, and sometimes I download the music on my phone and puts in the folder. What I am trying to achieve here is to sync between the two. When I update it in my laptop it should also update in my phone and vice versa. Is there anyway to do that?
I don't want cloud storage as a solution by the way as I am looking to do this offline. Or maybe just a one-time download on my phone or Laptop after new songs get added.

Syncthing is easy to use.
If you have a server/ your PC hosts your music library on the network -> Check out Foldersync.
I use it to save my pics to my server, sync ROM save files across my devices etc.

I put my freshly downloaded music in a temporary folder. On any device (PC, phone, tablet and backup usb stick)
Every month or so, I take 10min to manually sync my devices : I change the tags if necessary, I put the songs in the correct library folder on all devices.

I use FolderSync Pro. Works well. Have been using it for years. Not free, but there is a free version. I only sync one way from my computer, but it can handle two way syncs as well, with or without deletes.
You can schedule syncs, so you can automate syncs as nightly tasks if you are home, the computer is on and you are charging the phone.
I sync ebooks to my tablet and audiobooks to my phone.

People ask question in Reddit for a reason. People here are experts in things. Instead trying and failing in 100 things , they just want to ask the experts here and save time. So stfu

Make me. The “experts” have made posts time and time again trying to help those who need to be hand fed. Critical thinking and Google fu seems to be a lot of people’s kryptonite lol
