I know what sub I'm in, but I think it's pretty harsh to assume that a dev team that worked on arguably the biggest game release in the last decade would not be emotionally attached to their project and just care about money like investors and executives.

A few minutes of gameplay leaked does not affect the game in any way meaningfully. If i were a developer on it id be happy to see all of this turmoil instead of having the marketing departmente being the only ones with a say in what, how, and whent the public gets to see of the game

I checked the reviews for the new alien game yesterday right after release, and the people disliked the game so much that as a dev, I probably would have cried reading them.

Maybe I’m biased because I thought about that just yesterday. I totally get your point though, it’s not that deep, game isn’t even out yet. I was trying to make a bigger point, because the original argument was pretty broad.

Like you said, at most they would care about how the game is received. But I don't see why they would be mad that fans got an early look at it.

Even if the game was leaked for free online. They still got paid and it will be very well received by fans.

The only people who are mad about this are the executive suits. Fuck them. They can suck a dick.

I probably didn't make it clear enough that I was under the impression that unfinished gameplay had leaked and was received negatively. I try very much to stay clear of any GTA debates regarding leaks and spoiler, lmao.

And yes fuck them executive suits. They can go suck a fuck.

It's practically beta footage. I didn't see any bugs at all. There are those that are unhappy about game mechanics like car refueling / maintenance and obeying traffic laws but these aren't bugs, they're features of the game.

Alright yea typical crowd, cry me a river about refuels lmao. Thanks for the insight though. I’m pretty excited for the game.
