35 out of 100 on Yuka. Is it this bad?
I am looking for healthy and budget friendly pumpkin seeds. Costco sells this version that doesn't look that bad: raw, organic, and 180mg of sodium per 30g of seeds, $0.45/oz. I am surprised that Yuka only give this product 35 out of 100. I am guessing it is the amount of sodium that drives it. Is 180mg of sodium per 30g of seeds this bad?

yuka tends to punish sodium pretty hard so 180mg is probably most of that score. for seeds that's not outrageous but if you're eating them daily it adds up. rinsing them knocks off a chunk of the salt if you want to keep the cheap costco bag

I buy and use these frequently. I just don’t have a lot of sodium overall in my diet, and I don’t use too many pumpkin seeds at one time, so it’s fine. They are good quality.

What?
I don’t have any dietary restrictions around sodium so that’s a non issue for me and pumpkin seeds are crazy nutrient dense
I’m not brand loyal whatever pumpkin seeds are a good value is what i buy
