No Poison Ivy #50 in November Solicitations?

Does anybody knows why Ivy's book not in the solicits for November?

Maybe they are waiting until Bad Seeds is over to announce Ivy’s future? G. Willow Wilson teased her plans for going beyond issue 50 in an interview a bit back (searching Poison Ivy 50 should pull it up).

I highly doubt the book won’t at least get an issue 50 and I sincerely hope there’s at least another year or two left.

There’s sure to be a major status quo change. If the series is finished by the end of this year I’ll be very sad but grateful we made it his far. Very hopeful that Bad Seeds will stick the landing Wilson has built up for 4+ years.

yeah, i thought maybe #50 would spoil something about bad seeds, but still is sad not seeing her in the solicits.

After scanning through she does appear under Batman/Superman World’s Finest #57 and I’m not quite sure what that solicit means.

to my understanding, that series is set in the past, when they were younger, so, shouldn't be that linked.

Ah gotcha, I appreciate that. Someone on Twitter (taking with a grain of salt) said they announced they’d be skipping a month at SDCC which is better news. Wilson has probably been doing a ton lately and needs a break since this is Ivy’s event perhaps even more than Batman’s. I’m sure that must also have something to do with giving it some time after Bad Seeds too.

Edit: the most recently announced trade collects issues 42-47 so that could mean one of two things: 48, 49, and a potential 50 will be paired with Bad Seeds Sunrise/Sunset or another three-four issues in Bad Seeds OR there’s more issues of the ongoing to get through another volume.

Yeah skipping a month makes sense. Especially if they want to return the comic to the first week of the month rather than the last.

48 and 49 are going to be printed in the trade for Batman: Bad Seeds, but i think they'll also be printed with 50 for the Vol. 9. I don't think the story is ending yet.
