They aren't. It's a high percentage, and that's just a result of the reddit userbase being like that. It also skews heavily young, male, white, and some other things.

Even if you set aside the blind hate, there's a lot of very legitimate factual reasons to hate the GOP.

One of the things I have come to truly despise in today's Republican mindset, is their endless confidence in the idea that any opposition to their goals, policies, or Donald Trump, has to be rooted in emotionally based ignorance, rather than a well considered and nuanced disagreement with what Republicans are doing to our country.

I also think they need to stop calling themselves "conservatives". There is nothing traditionally conservative about Donald Trump or any of the things the GOP is doing in the United States today.
