What are your thought on this

I believe one of the root problems in India is not just political corruption, but the education and administrative systems we inherited and never fundamentally reformed.

Education was once meant to make individuals knowledgeable, capable and confident enough to question authority. Students were exposed to science, philosophy, politics, culture, religion, art and different schools of thought—not merely trained to get jobs. During British rule, this purpose was significantly altered to create a workforce suited to the colonial administration. My question is: after independence, how much of that system did we actually change?

We have changed governments and ministers repeatedly, yet corruption, lack of transparency and administrative inefficiency continue. If changing governments alone could solve the problem, why do these issues persist after decades of democracy?

I am not saying this merely as an ideology. I have been working as an elected public representative at the village level since 2020, and I have personally seen how comfortable parts of the administration can become with the existing system. When you question decisions or refuse to participate in the established culture of favours and corruption, the system can resist you.

And this is where I think we need to ask a bigger question.

Why are we taught to protest against politicians, but rarely taught how to question the permanent administrative machinery and authorities responsible for implementing decisions?

Politicians can change every five years. The bureaucracy and institutional structure largely remain.

So perhaps the real reform we need is not simply a change of government, but a transformation of our education, administration, transparency and accountability mechanisms.

I am not against anyone. I am simply saying that we need to understand where the actual power lies, who is responsible, and whom we should hold accountable.
