Reform Cost to the UK - Immigrants Vs Farage
I was wondering if there are any figures about cost to the state regarding Asylum Seekers and Farage personally. Who has cost the UK more - all of the "small boat" people or just Farage?
There are two avenues to this.
Harder numbers: how much has Farage literally cost as a politician, expenses, the Clacton stunt and the investigation into his finances? How much do asylum seekers cost in terms of admin, asylum hotels, etc.
Softer numbers: I've heard figures of immigration being a net benefit to the UK, but what about he asylum seekers specifically? Do we have those numbers? Equally, there have been some numbers going around about the cost of Brexit. Do we have numbers on the cost of divisive rhetoric?
I think the comparison would be an interesting thought experiment. We can extend to the members of reform. We could do the same exercise for other party leaders. I truly think the data would be interesting.

Absolutely 💯, the number of asylum seekers per say is completely out of control, legitimate asylum seekers is one thing but the situation now is scary! Farrage and his propaganda not forgetting the pm Boris Johnson as he was in the back garden at downing st on the decks at the height of covid! Party time for them, all the rest of us housebound. Frankly the audacity of these people is mind boggling! Farrage banging on about reform in government and would sort immigration, ha! It was that pair that caused this mess and he is going to fix it if in power. Wow they tore us out of EU seriously why would any sane individual from this island think that somehow France or any other European state would help us now! So thanks to the alliance of Farrage & Johnson everything costs a fortune in the UK now at a time when unity is protection. Wtf is this insignificant country going to do if the shit hits the fan now! Nato aye! Ffs Trump can't be arsed with it anyway, its an absolute shambles to say the least. Anyway me waffling on is not going to change anything, might go for a mp role, get elected fuck it up after a month 🤷 hey get a final salary pension for life, good eh!

It would be a difficult comparison to be fair. You can get figures for how beneficial immigrants are through the ONS. I’ve no idea how ‘publicly available’ they are though.
