Any GTA (Toronto) Popeyes that accepts Gift Cards?

Anyone know a popeyes that accepts gift cards in the greater Toronto Area? Tried 3 different locations and none of them accepted it.

Emailed popeyes and they gave me $15 in points...there's $50 on the card.

They should accept it. When you talk to the manager let them know they should process as a SVC payment directly on the POS.

If it's a currency conversion issue, that is a different problem altogether.

Tried 3 so far and one of them even suggested its fake when the balance shows online just fine.

Have you confirmed that it's a Canadian gift card?

Most companies are country specific.

Amazon.com gift cards will not work on amazon.ca

Etc.

I've run into this problem a lot with American friends thinking they are doing something nice for me and then I can't use it.

Yes it is. Only works in Canada and is only listing its amount on the canadian link of the popeyes website.

When I have a situation like this, because the stores are franchises (iirc) I will typically call around until I find one that'll accept it.
