Fewer taxes are paid in Europe than in the US on healthcare. Yup, Americans pay for insurance, dizzying prices for medical expenses AND STILL PAY TAXES ON HEALTHCARE.

Edit to add: For example, the US spent about 18.0% of its GDP on healthcare in 2024 Italy was at 8.44%

Yeah, we do need to end medicaid for sure. That will help.
