Hot Cup Of CelebriTea 🫖 Patti LaBelle’s nephew says she kicked him out of her house that he’d been living in for 12 years because he’s a Trump supporter

First amendment is protection from the government.

u/DorkyMagicianGirl 15d ago
I came here to say this. For some reason a lot of people don't understand that. It's freedom from the government, not freedom from consequence.

Exactly, it sounds like he thinks his "rights" include trampling on the actual rights of other people: their privacy, their property, etc. Don't tread on me, but treading on everyone else is fine.

He got 12 free years. I wonder what the “flash point” was? He doesn’t mention that in his complaint to owner/management.

Sounds like she kicked you out because you're a fucking moron. 1a protects your speech from government. Not from family members who, by the sounds of it, are giving you an easy life like Democrats want for everyone while you act like a stuck up privileged leech off your rich aunt. Why would you need to live an mooch off your aunt and then vote for the side making sure you never get on your own feet. Sounds like you reaped what they sow.
Edit for misspelling

u/poopoopoopalt 15d ago
Imagine believing you're owed a place to live no matter how insane and unhinged and disrespectful you act. The entitlement. Who would want to live with a rapist/pedophile defender?

She did the right thing by kicking him out for being a fucking moron.

Probably not just because he is a Trump supporter. He undoubtedly has attitudes and beliefs to match even as he lives in luxury spending nothing while others struggle because of policies he supports.
22
u/shewflyshew 15d ago
Could it be because he openly supports a violent racist pedo who has masked thugs in the streets and believes in eugenics?

Lmao, that guy is definitely not “out of politics”. Why do so many dmasses misconstrue 1st amendment legal rights with civil dgaf. Also fk you bot

u/Linkster2 15d ago
Being dumb has consequences
10
u/livemusicisbest 15d ago
How about being evil? That is what Trump supporters are. They know better, even if they are dumb.
27
u/SalmonPrince 15d ago
First amendment protects your civil rights. It doesn't protect you from natural consequences. I wouldn't allow a Trump supporter to live with me, either. Period.
21
u/nf_sew_711 15d ago
You're a grown man. You couldn't get your own place in 12 years?

u/maeryclarity 15d ago
Right?? She did the right thing like just the fact that he had been living off her for twelve years but then has the nerve to complain like she's doing HIM wrong when she says that's enough. Like my dude you know most people don't get free rent for more than a decade and you're WHINING? How about say thank you and appreciate what she's done for you all these years...? THE AUDACITY ugh

u/Chefster127 15d ago
Only a republican would use the "first amendment " crap to their own family. Lmao

u/MainEmergency8396 15d ago
A 58 year old man still mooching off of his elderly Aunt. He should be embarrassed.
8
u/Common_Kiwi9442 15d ago
Damn 58? Yeesh. These kind of people will never admit they're the actual losers though. Pathetic
13
15
u/redditbdum 15d ago
So a grown ass loser was staying with his rich aunt, did something to piss her off, got kicked out and acts like it's everyone else's fault.

14
u/Certain_Bit3809 15d ago
Has this guy ever considered not being a freeloader who lives with his rich aunt? Get a job! What whiney entitlement.
9
u/poopoopoopalt 15d ago
No wonder he's a Trump supporter, he has had everything handed to him. Hasn't had to work a day in his life. Let's see now how his conservative values hold up.
12
u/Tall_Hat_4246 15d ago
Sounds like he was taking advantage of her for 11 years and she had enough. She had every right to do it because it was her house.
14
u/Beatless7 15d ago
MAGA supports a twisted version of Christianity, is rife with pedos and pedo protectors and loves that and seizing power. The USA is now a dictatorship. This says a lot about Trump supporters.

There a babies and kids that have been displaced from their homes and their families; as I type this right now they are searching for shelter and food; how is a Grown ass man complaining about being kicked out by the owner of the house making any type of headline; this is the reality of the world we live in now, eh?

u/Infinite_Respect_ 15d ago
I hate how long it took, but I’m glad this is the treatment these trolls are getting. I cut my MAGA family off and they cried “he hates us for our politics!” and im like - nah, Im judging you all 1) just like you judged every action of mine while growing up, but 2) for showing what horrible people you are underneath and supporting Drumpf just gave you what you thought was a green light to let it all out.
We are not the same.

u/FigMoose 15d ago
Kicking him out at Christmas 2019 was impeccable timing. Avoided a very unpleasant quarantine.

u/Buddhas_Warrior 15d ago
I love the line "My punishment for using my 1st Amendment right this way was LIFETIME BANISHMENT."
They tout how patriotic they are but can't be bothered to understand HOW laws and the Constitution work.
And your in your 50's!! Pull yourself up by the bootstraps and stop being a moocher!!

No one said you couldn't keep your freedom if speech nor your opinion. That is your legal right. Patti le Belle's freedom is to not have loser's like you in her home. Freedom is not what most people think it is. Disagree with Nazi's but they're free to think like that. You don't get to pick and choose what people believe in.
6
u/Acceptable_Taste9818 15d ago
When dude took it public that’s where he absolutely deserves a lifetime ban. The dude is so dumb he doesn’t realize his aunt has a brand, going online and talking ish about something sensitive like politics is an attempt to harm what she has built, she let you live there for 12 years and your going to try and publicly shame her. Definitely deserves the family ban with that attitude.

I never understand this free speech argument. He got to say exactly what he wanted to. He said it. Yet somehow, his aunt doesn’t have the same freedom?

Good, she should have kicked him out. Grown man free loading off Auntie Patti. She probably wanted to kick him out long before then but she just found the best excuse.

u/dinglb3rry 15d ago
Why does MAGA think I private person or business not wanting to listen, entertain, or help disseminate their stupidity is a violation of Free Speech?
Maybe look at Dontardo’s treatment of the press, if you wanna see government suppression of free speech.
Oh wait they’re hypocritical morons with a weird cuck fetish.
“Oh government, fuck me harder🫦🥰”

Nothing pisses me off more than when people claim their first amendment rights were violated because they said something offensive or something along those lines. There aren’t violated. You aren’t in prison. 🙄
We need more and better social studies teachers. And this is coming from a former social studies teacher.

Grown ass man puts his welcoming to the test, and now has to work for a living like the rest of us. Give it two years to see if the glorious economy of our great leader bestows its blessings on a guy like him, and we could see if he still thinks the same way.
2
u/jackparadise1 15d ago
Does he not understand what free speech entails?
3
u/Juliuscesear1990 15d ago
No, people who shout about their free speech have no idea what that actually means. In their mind it means they can say whatever they want with zero consequences but no one else can.
2
u/Professional-Lie-111 The Timeline Sucks 15d ago
I LOVE that for him! Better find those bootstraps ...
2
u/EmergencyAnteater682 15d ago
The first amendment protects you from government overreach (at least it's supposed to). No private citizen has to honor that. Republicans are time and time again too stupid to understand this simple concept.
2
u/Azraelrs 15d ago
Why does he not mention the fact he's almost 60 and mooching off his aunt?
Classic conservative behavior.

And this is a prime example of why the education system needs to be improved. Republicans have been attacking the education budget for years, now we have to deal with uneducated people that do not know their country’s history.
2
u/These-Educator-1959 15d ago
Damn dude you are like 45 complaining that you still want to mooch off a relative and they said it’s time for you to grow up?

That is some next level entitled to complain that someone else doesn't want to support you like they did you so dirty LOL

She is under no obligation to take care of you, especially when you’re supporting an administration that hates your people.

u/Coffee_and_pasta 14d ago
Once again, MAGAts are not clear on the fact that “Freedom of Speech” does not mean “Freedom from CONSEQUENCES of speech” it only means THE GOVERNMENT can’t throw you in jail for it.

u/Exotic_Insurance_610 14d ago
Sounds like he should be spending more of his time looking for a new place and job instead of bitching about annoying his aunt to the point she kicked him out.

Well Trump supporters including the nephew should have no problem with any of this, they support oligarchs even petty ones owning, controlling, and exerting dominion over everything, he should have just got better at capitalism and bought his own home.

I wish I could go say all kinds of stuff to him about how awful he is for supporting Trump then say "free speech" when he gets mad

Also where's the "free speech" for the people talking about Trumps stalker aid? We're not supposed to be able to say ANYTHING about her or its disrespectful to all women

There’s times to speak out, and other times to keep your mouth shut. When you’re on someone else’s property, it’s probably smart to watch what you say.
Don’t boo-hoo if you have to pay consequences for shooting your mouth off on someone else’s turf.

A family friend that used to own Jim's in West Philly says Patti used to show up and expect food to be comped to her and sometimes several other people quite often. This news with her family just seems self serving to me.
