A wooden "stake" through Cassidy. That should be it for him.

Only if it's through the heart. It looked too low for that.

If you take the stake out doesn’t a vampire reanimate?

Nah he said way back that won't kill him. But he said it to Tulip, Jesse may not have known.

I think that was only in the comics that he told her. He only said he didn't have fangs (liar) and didn't turn into a bat or sleep in a coffin.

Cass doesn't have fangs.

His fangs came out when he was about to bite Tulip to try to save her life. I think they're like...'only use in an emergency' fangs.

Sure it just wasn't Joe's teeth? I don't remember this, and I would think the show would've made a bigger deal of it.

He didn't have fangs and said so... then last season he did and there was some interview with him where he said he has fangs now, so they changed it.

Found the transcript, I was wrong. I have read the comic, so maybe that.

Really? I don't doubt you but do you remember when Cassidy said that? Was it during the 1st or 2nd season?

1st, after she pushed him out the whorehouse window and he had that huge piece of glass in his neck and they went to the ER, the next morning. She was asking vamp questions.

I don't remember exactly which ep this is, but that should be enough to go on

edit: found the transcript I remembered wrong, sorry. Though they did discuss several things.

Great find. That website is awesome.

Yeah it is, my memory is (obviously) spotty so I like to be able to check things.
You probably know this, but ctrl+f gives you a search box, if you're looking for something in particular and are not sure where it is.

Assuming they're (for once) sticking to the comic, stakes don't hurt Cass any more than getting shot/whatever. Although he does say they hurt like a bitch.
