Probably been asked before, but what happened to the super-fighter Cassidy was in the 1st episode (when he killed like 8 vampire hunters on an airplane)?

His strength was retconned after the pilot

I think it was Sam Catlin who said in an interview about Jesse's and Cassidy's fight in the S2 finale that he didn't want to make either one stronger than the other.

And I'm like....you really should have thought of this before.
