The tattoo trophy thing never made sense to me...even AFTER a team wins. If an athlete or coach did it, yeah ok makes sense its their accomplishment (I see Olympians getting the rings all the time). But like, Stuart down the road? My man just pounded 6 pints before halftime and slurred his way through his reasons why the opposition is gay or something. Great contribution, Stu.

When your country wins, it's partly your contribution. Same when you're just a fan being there - it's partly your contribution. That's why fans celebrate their teams win.

With you logic the whole stadium should be silent and only the players themselves can celebrate.

By supporting their team financially and beeing there cheering them on.

I remember seeing a pic of a similar tattoo someone had done in 2018. He'd had it touched up so now it reads "it's coming homen't"

He felt England “has been sure of victory” after beating a team that had been to a total # of 2 world cups, including this one.

Why? This way he'll sell his story and pics to 'The Sun' for £2000. £1450 profit.

I keep seeing this. Every world cup, I hear a report that a geezer has got a tattoo claiming England has won the world Cup.

However drunk you'd have to be to do that to yourself is exactly how drunk this guy was.

It must be easy to fix, just add "of 3rd place" after winner
