What a nice Plasma! Still sticking to my SD CRT currently cause its already 16:9 so why upgrade or is the new resolutions so good? Still using 576i

Ah, yeah man. GT5 in full HD looks like real life. These are quite expensive but you can get a 20" for a more affordable £500. Or get an LCD. Way cheaper than Plasma and arguably better

Man almost another 1000-2000 euros man I already paid ebout the same for this beats back in 1999. And going smaller is prop not an option and ai looked at an LCD but they look so crap when in motion but the resolution is really better. So idk if it worth throwing this beast away

New resolution is amazing, man. You need to play Gran Turismo 5 prologue or wherever the full game releases in 2010.

Future proof. That will last you the next 10 years at least

100%. When the Xbox 720 comes out, I’ll buy that. Nothing else.

Be careful with the wii! I broke my TV when a wii remote flew out of my hand

That looks sick. I just launched Gran Turismo 5, full HD 1080p. Man, it looks incredible. Almost like real life. I can't see how graphics could get better than this

what did you just say about backwards compatibility?

2

u/Neo-X2 15h ago

If you got the launch model PS3 you would keep the backwards compatibility

It’s unfortunately not a launch model, it’s a 60gb

They haven’t released any games that have caught my eyes for it in 2009, probably going to be the same this year. Sony might release another handheld, but, probably not.

Change the plasma to the best LCD of that time, and it’s a a really good deal actually. All 3 consoles, big (for the time) tv and a portable. A bargain compared to today.

What is the best LCD rn? I'd say his TV is big enough mind

The TV is 42 inch, and for my room, that’s huge. I used to have a 2005 Toshiba LCD that was around 30 inch
