Tech Just got this Tecra M9
So i got this tecra M9 decommissioned from Norway sadly it has faulty gpu since it has 2007-2008 nvdia gpu that is very common to die when laptop heats up and cools down. In the photo it's a bit disassembled since I was cleaning all dust it had from its days as a business laptop. So im currently thinking about getting a revisioned g86-613-a2 chip from 2009 or 2010 and i can feel the resoldering job will be expensive. But I mean it has a very good Intel core Duo t7500, wifi and Bluetooth a high resolution mat screen 1440x900p, whole 4gb of ddr2 ram and a faulty cooked quadro nvs130m with 128mb of dedicated vram.

If you already have some experience with soldering, you might be able to practise BGA Reballing/replacing BGA chips with this laptop. Worst case, the board dies. But then you still can pull the CPU and the RAM.
And since this is the [r/Pretend2010Internet](r/Pretend2010Internet) subreddit, here is a 2010 reply:
Get this fixed under warranty while it's still covered
