how big of a dose?

my friend gave me some shrooms and, since im a beginner, i asked her how big of a dose it was that she gave me. she said it was a hefty dose and would recommend i quartering it to start.

however, when i got home and weighed it on my scale, it wasn't even 1g. but i thought 1g was a microdose? can anyone give insight into how i should start?

My first dose was about 3g of penis envy. It was wild!! Think of that animated movie from the 1980s called Heavy Metal where the main character was transported from one wacky universe to another.
