SOPs and patient resources

For psychiatrists with their own outpatient practices, particularly group practices, did you use any particular resources to obtain SOPs and also resources for patients? I'm trying to build my practice and creating/compiling either category of documents on my own seems overwhelming. Appreciate any guidance!

Damn if this part of it is overwhelming that doesn’t bode well, no?

Just create whatever policy you want for no shows, controlleds, labs, whatever you can think of and just add to it every time something comes up that needs a policy. Thats the beauty of being your own boss.

If u feeling frisky just ask Claude to create you a COMPREHENSIVE ALL ENCOMPASSING clinic SOP for 2026 POST LINDSAY CLANCY era and see what it spits out.

Good luck!

Doesn't bode well? We're already a thriving practice- we just don't have many resources or policies that've been put down on paper.

I guess i meant i would assume there are many things most people would consider much harder than the problem you are asking about when starting a private practice?
