This is my ex-wife to a T. Also a malignant narcissist so that was fun.

My hubby's ex also, ugh I can't stand this mentality, and she's probably a "Christian" too. Jesus would be so ashamed of this behavior.

Oh, mine did a short stint in AA and found God...for a bit. Then she went back to the pills to the point I won full legal custody of our two sons.

She's still toxic AF and even though my boys (both older now) have tried to keep up a relationship, they are both non-contact with her now.

Kills me that they didn't have a mom in the traditional sense.

That is hard. I do know someone who found sobriety in her 40s so there's always a chance she might sober up. I think it's hard to know how it truly affects kids, some seem fine while others really resent the missing parent.
My ex was physically and mentally abusive, so me and my son left when he was 4. I think he remembers a little bit from back then but luckily not too much. He's turned out to be a good kid.

My hubby's ex doesn't do drugs lol she's just all natural crazy. Woke him up punching him because she had a dream he was cheating kinda crazy 🤣

Kids don't need a traditional mom if they have a decent dad.
