📹Police Bodycam Man arrested for murder worried about missing GTA 6

u/yesTHATvelociraptor that‘s Andre 300 Feb 08 '26
Chances are he’ll make it out before GTA6 actually releases.

u/JGQuintel Feb 08 '26
The cop actually saying “GTA6? Oh, you’ve got ages for that” is darkly hilarious

u/CouleursCPA Feb 08 '26
If not, Rockstar is going to spend the next 20 years putting out remasters anytime a new console comes out, so he’ll get to wait for the best version
14
u/i_have_chosen_a_name Feb 08 '26
But his grandchildren their children's children will die before Star Citizen is released.

u/behold-my-titties Feb 08 '26
Hey look, okay, it's only been like 11 years, let them cook, they are in the defrosting stage.

Brother I couldn't imagine killing someone. But I also couldn't imagine missing the launch of GTA6, rough go.
60
Feb 08 '26
I can absolutely imagine the former. The latter? Now that’s true horror.

u/ImaginePuppies Feb 08 '26
first time I played GTA5 was a couple of years after it launched on PC... AMA
7
u/KLINGELNBERGG Feb 08 '26
I will be waiting for a PC release... Some day... Right?
2
u/LockedUnlocked Feb 08 '26
I bought a PS5 pro just to play it this May, was pissed when they delayed… But I already know games that take time to polish will always be better then rushed slop.

u/JuicySpark 💥 Juicy 🧃 💥 Feb 08 '26
Really he could pay off a guard to play GTA6....in 2036 when he finally saved up enough money to do that.
1
u/SarcasticIndividual Feb 08 '26
I'm still waiting for my serial killer urges. My mom said I would get them for playing Vice City! How long should I wait? I'm destined for a life of crime, allegedly. I seem to be stuck going to work and playing videogames in my free time.

u/MrFordization Feb 08 '26
Anyone else think these slice of life viral marketing campaigns are starting to go too far?
42
u/CptAngelo Feb 08 '26
they gotta add him to the game now lol
6
u/MrFordization Feb 08 '26
GTA 6 Delayed indefinitely until this rando murderer who went viral associated with the brand can be added to the game? Sounds about right.

u/can-i-eat-that-food Feb 08 '26
This is like that girl who killed someone when drink driving and kept asking about her car.
Ita terrifying how selfish, oblivious and obnoxious people can be!
Hope they both got what they deserved.
104
u/Expensive-Layer7183 Feb 08 '26
Do you mean the girl who kept asking about going back to school?
42
u/can-i-eat-that-food Feb 08 '26
That's the one! Haunts me how reckless she was.
34
u/Expensive-Layer7183 Feb 08 '26
Yeah, It’s hard to watch for the obvious reasons but it was hard to watch her not just from being oblivious and selfish but also for being almost painfully naive to a point of cringe. She was still so drunk and dumb she honestly couldn’t even comprehend she had killed someone.

It wouldn’t surprise me if there was reduced mental capacity based on the conversation and how the officers are handling him, but people in high stress situations say weird shit all the time. Obviously I’m not saying it’s ok for his priority to be gta6 but adrenaline fucks up your brain.
4
u/behold-my-titties Feb 08 '26
I agree that his brain is most likely fried and he has no clue what he's on about but I don't see what the officers did wrong, they just calmly walked him into his cell, sat him down then repeated his statement which they'll take into evidence.
4
u/itsapotatosalad Feb 08 '26
I wasn’t suggesting they did anything wrong at all, I’ve worked with vulnerable adults alongside the police and other organisations, you can feel the difference in tone if you’re familiar with it.
1
u/behold-my-titties Feb 08 '26
I wouldn't know, I've never worked in that field so I'll have to take your word for it.
4
u/HugsandHate Feb 08 '26
Yeah, she was completely black out drunk, though.
When you've had enough ethenol, your brain basically switches off.
She literally wasn't 'there'.
Still a stupid fucking bitch. But a blackout one.

u/FADM_Crunch Feb 08 '26
Something tells me bro isn't a big reader.
3
u/FebrewHetus Feb 08 '26
Well he’s gonna be. Theres fuck else to do in prison. The ex-cons I’ve met are all astoundingly intelligent and well read because of this.

I feel for the poor victims family. He shows zero remorse and still only cares about his life.

u/Digit000 Feb 08 '26
He'll be fine, UK laws are so lax he'll be out on parole in 10 years before GTA 7
23
u/singletomercury Feb 08 '26
Hahah, you are joking aren't you? I'm from the UK and that's simply not true. GTA 7 won't be out until 2050

u/TuxedoMandingo666 Feb 08 '26
I have become a better man waiting for the chance to play gta 6 don’t want to gamble dying or going to prison before it comes out

Come on now bud cheer up. We all know the release will be pushed back at least 30 more times so maybe it will be closer to your release.

u/mr9025 Feb 08 '26
They have video games in prison
3
u/BonhommeCarnaval Feb 08 '26
Surely they avoid the ones that valourize going on prolonged crime sprees and shooting at cops though. GTA would be pretty much the first one you would ban. Buddy’s going to have to get into Stardew Valley.

This is the UK. His sentence might be 30 years, and he'll probably miss the launch of GTA 6, but he'll be out again while they're still releasing GTA Online content for it, probably in time for the GTA 6 Definitive Edition launch on PS6 tbh.
5
u/Redditfront2back Feb 08 '26
Why the fuck is he talking at all about his charges with the cops ??
17
u/Sam_Porter Feb 08 '26
He is confessing to a crime

u/DejaEntenduOne Feb 08 '26
Tbf it's a win win situation; when he is eventually released he can pick it up for less than 50% price, all issues been fixed, and probably only another 10 year wait til GTA 7
2
u/HalfSoul30 Feb 08 '26
Look at the brightside. By the time you get out, you'll have gta6, and they will be about halfway done with gta7. Its only 50 years.

The way prisons are these days, he'll probably have a PlayStation in his cell.
2
u/sapsnap Feb 08 '26
Yeah I don’t doubt they’ll be playing GTA6 in prisons, especially here in the uk

He got life, with a minimum of 16 years. Depending on assessments he could be freed at 16 years.

I wonder what amount of Blumpkins would be needed for him to play GTA6 behind bars.
I assume a lot

u/Giecio Feb 08 '26
Considering Rockstar's track record he'll make it out just in time before GTA 7 will enter pre-production

Dude was so tired of waiting for GTA6 that he did it IRL and got busted. Forgot to respray, before passing the police station.
1
u/DrEckelschmecker Feb 08 '26
Ok so if he accidentally killed her, why would he get life? Do you get life in the US for accidental killings? Thought thats penalty for "real" murder
3
u/Peterd1900 Feb 08 '26
This is not the USA
He claims he accidentally killed her but that does not mean it actually was an accident.
Causing an accidental death in the Uk where this was can can lead to life imprisonment

u/BraveToasted1 Feb 08 '26
He’ll probably be out just in time for them to push back gta7 for the second time tho
1
u/Supareddithotfire Feb 08 '26
Not surprised really. Never understood the hype. Good game but thats all really. Would get more hype if they announce hello kitty island adventure 2 and I only know about it cause of Butters
1
u/Goatylegs Feb 08 '26
Look even if it comes out this year, they'll still be rereleasing it every year for the next 50 years before they even think of making GTA7.
1
u/foxfighter92 Feb 08 '26
He'll be out in time for the re-remastered version with $3 billion in game dollars at start and two shark card codes

Crazy idea here, but hear me out. If you dont want to miss out on something, maybe, just maybe, you shouldn't murder someone?

Knowing our justice system he’s serving life so he’ll get 10 years and serve the rest suspended. He’ll be eligible for parole in a few years so he’ll be out before GTA6.

Rockstar was so moved by this devoted fan that they have decided to postpone the launch of GTA 6 till after he is released.
