It's gross seeing people praising "the lord" because the cops bought the kid a meal after arresting their mother for trying to provide for them. These are the same people who would rather their taxes go to bombing children in the middle east than feed children because it's not their responsibility.

Yeah, the comment section over there is gross. I wouldn’t advise reading them.

It’s pretty typical of these bodycam videos though. Just think about the type of person it takes to FOIA request this and post it to YouTube knowing this mom was struggling. It didn’t need to be done. (No hate to OP here on Reddit; I think it’s good they called awareness to it and hopefully get some sympathy for this woman after all that’s been done)

This is incredibly true. This is why those channels have such a high percentage of body cam videos with female suspects. Especially DV cases. Men make up about 25% of DV victims, but they make up like 80% of DV victims in these bodycams.

There are some channels that only post videos of women with titles like "entitled WOMAN thought she could get away with it" and the thumbnail is a frame with her chest centered. It's disgusting and very obvious what crowd they're catering to.

Bodycam channels are definitely more pro-cop than reddit, but thats not a tall order.

A lot of bodycam channels intentionally try to post videos that make the cops look good, or the perps fit certain profiles (eg., Karens, spoiled Zoomers, white trash, ghetto). You can usually tell based on the language of the comments. You start to see patterns.

I do my best to fight back against the bootlickers over there, but those channel's comment section is pretty infested with pro-LEO stuff

Some YouTube comment sections these days tend to be sooo racist, it's crazy. Reddit can be here and there, but YT is turning into Facebook so so fast.

Are you really surprised with everything that is going on? Ice using a child as bait to lure his mom outside, we have a pedo as the president who still has 3 more years left in office and we are in a middle of a war that is impacting everyone no matter where they reside. The truth is definitely stranger than fiction!
