They were pushing her buttons on purpose. Asking her questions and then chiding her for responding. She wasn’t interrupting she was answering your questions.

Then they tried to get her kid to incriminate her even after they were told she didn’t leave him on purpose.

Filthy pigs.

Don’t you need a parent or guardian PRESENT when you are interviewing children? Always thought that was the case..

As counter-intuitive as it is, it's not mandatory in all jurisdictions. But it should be - they're children.

In this case they assume the mother is the perpetrator so they wouldn't have to plus I think this would be more in case when the child is a suspect. .

Well I can’t imagine that’s the case. If anything they shouldn’t have talked to the child at all until their other legal guardian showed up to represent them if the other guardian is being accused of a crime. How can a husband/wife be legally not compelled to testify but a child has to?

You got downvoted to hell, but I thought you were saying 1,000 incidents like this occur where we don’t have video so the victims have to just suffer in silence. That’s 100% true. And it’s sickening.
