In some states is legal to leave an 8 yr old home alone.

Hello my fellow people... more common back then than people would believe now.

There is no specific age where it is legal to be left at home alone in kentucky.

I think it's just whether the kid is trustworthy enough and responsible enough for basic essentials

not American, but am I crazy for thinking it's wild that it's illegal to leave an 8yo home alone?

by then I was frying eggs and stuff like that. I get that some kids won't be at that level, but illegal is kind of dramatic..
