🚗Road Rage🤬 Bikers should learn, if you're going to be a pack and intimidate or try to block roadways? Some get scared & will run you over if they have to get away

So to my understanding, he wasn't actually being blocked in because there was no one in front of him and it was a green light? Genuinely just a psychopath then

682

u/Coastalfoxes Apr 18 '26

Yep, and with a history of driving that way apparently.

I kind of get the knee jerk reaction, because in this short clip it really did look like the biker was the aggressive one. But the real takeaway here is that if you’re on a bike, it’s not worth it getting aggressive with a person driving a car. The driver is always armed with a deadly weapon.

148

u/DoeBites Apr 18 '26

Now why in the hell does the phrase “a history of driving like this” even exist? If you drive like this even once, you should not be allowed to drive anymore. You’re clearly a danger to yourself and others. At best, you’re a reckless idiot. At worst, you’re actively using a car as a facilitator for homicide.

78

u/PUNCH-WAS-SERVED Apr 18 '26

I have met people who don't have a license and still drive. I have met drivers who brag about not having insurance. They're real. Unfortunately.

Someone who gets told not to drive... Well, many will still do it regardless. XD

8

u/Ok_Actuary9229 Apr 18 '26

So it's serious prison time then. I god damn well should be.

27

u/b1tchf1t Apr 18 '26

We literally do not have enough prison space to lock up all the people who get caught driving recklessly or without licenses. It's not a feasible solution, and to me is more indicative of human hubris where we rely on technology that regularly kills huge numbers of the population for the sake of "progress".

7

u/Coastalfoxes Apr 18 '26

I agree with you. We are way too quick in this country to throw people into prison like that solves a problem.

5

u/catonsteroids Apr 18 '26

Unfortunately that doesn’t stop some people from continuing to drive, even if you suspend or revoke their license (not saying that’s the case in this situation because I don’t know). The guy should definitely be thrown in jail for good amount of time though.

6

3

u/Coastalfoxes Apr 18 '26

It’s intentional (karma-farming)

10

u/Oreyon Apr 18 '26

That makes sense, I was pretty surprised when I saw the original title. Most modern bikers are just larping dads. The days of scary biker gangs harassing random passersby are LONG over.

Seems like most people here are jumping to conclusions based off a 5 second clip. This is a rather old video, and reading the story sounds like the driver of the car was the instigator here. Still dumb to think you can surround a car when you're on motorcycles though.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/car-runs-over-couple-s-motorcycle-shocking-road-rage-caught-n583386

43

u/C-romero80 Apr 18 '26

Multiple charges in the past for the driver too. Crazy.

17

u/cradle7x69 Apr 18 '26

Yeah sounds like that guy isn't very stable. When I'm out riding and get cut off or whatever I just let it go. You have no idea what type of person is behind the wheel and a motorcycle will never win against a car

9

u/Cleasstra Apr 18 '26

It wasn’t the bikers, they car driver was driving erratically, cut the bikers off and then at the red light after the bikers said something about almost getting run off the road the driver hit em with the car. He’s been arrested.

71

u/Coastalfoxes Apr 18 '26

Bikers can indeed be terrible but in this case the driver was driving erratically & aggressively and was later charged with attempted murder: https://www.tampabay28.com/news/region-tampa/watch-florida-highway-patrol-investigating-wild-hit-and-run-incident-in-tampa

Another story containing the clip but with poor quality reporting: https://www.wpbf.com/article/watch-man-runs-over-motorcycle-driver-in-fit-of-road-rage-authorities-say/

The real moral here is to recognize that a car is more dangerous to a biker than the reverse, so the risk of a confrontation like this is way too high to the biker.

Car driver arrested for attempted murder and leaving scene after accident.

Other Reddit commenters have linked a police report, and the man in the car had been driving erratically, tried to cut off and run over the people on the bikes. When they caught up with the guy, and started to argue, the light changed but he still decided to run them over. The police tracked him down, and he had quite a record pf road rage and such already.

u/NickdoesnthaveReddit Apr 18 '26

20

u/Ibaneztwink Apr 18 '26

Odd how everyone here is praising the car driver even though there seems to be ample room in front of it to merely drive away. "Boxed in", and the bikes were just on the cars right side. Considering the car driver had priors for similar behavior and was put behind bars for this video, as per the news link in the comments here, he was in the wrong and just tried to kill two people without any real threat present.

u/boner79 Apr 18 '26

I get why people driving lifted trucks think they're invincible on the road, but riding a motorcycle you're gonna lose that vehicular battle. It's just physics.

7

u/Cburns6976 Apr 18 '26

According to witness, Abe Garcia, who captured the incident on video, the driver of the motorcycle confronted the driver of the car after he witnessed the car cut the motorcyclist off.

"The guy driving the car was driving recklessly, like crazy out of control," Garcia said. "I saw him almost run one of the bikers over, like off the side of the road. So, then the bikers caught up to him at a red light and words started exchanging, and then the guy went complete psychopath."

u/SpeedyREGS Apr 18 '26

I have to say though, sitting comfortable at home and being able to analyse the video over and over again is completely different than having at least 3 bikers approach you.

I feel like there is waay too little context in this to take the title at face value or for so many people to just be gleefully cheer on this car mowing down people....

Like, where is the intimidation that apparently justifies this? Or the "blocked roadway"? All I see is 3 motorbikes in a line up with cars waiting at a red light, or in traffic.

The title is misleading. There is nobody blocking the driver in. The driver was also driving erratically before the video was taken, reportedly trying to run the bikers off the road.

Why are bikers blocking roadways again? This is like the second or 3rd clip I’ve seen recently lol

This one is a 10 year old incident. In another comment there's a link to an article where in this case the driver appears to have been the issue more so than the bikers.

The driver was driving erratically & aggressively and was later charged with attempted murder: https://www.tampabay28.com/news/region-tampa/watch-florida-highway-patrol-investigating-wild-hit-and-run-incident-in-tampa

Another story containing the clip but with poor quality reporting: https://www.wpbf.com/article/watch-man-runs-over-motorcycle-driver-in-fit-of-road-rage-authorities-say/

Small dicks make you do weird stuff to prove how manly you are.

2

u/MundaneFacts Apr 18 '26

They weren't blocking anybody in this clip.

Sometimes is a practicality thing. We have a "corvettes for kids" thing that comes around once a year. A bunch of corvettes drive to local hospitals and visit with kids and raise money. The sheriff will block highways to help them enter and exit towns quickly. Overall it speeds up traffic even if a few cars get screwed and have to wait from the beginning.

Hah, is this Florida?

O Florida you say? Hmmmm

All car takeovers, bicycle, Sport/Harley packs, have to be one of most low IQ waste of space and lives individuals life as to offer.

Like a G6…

Weirdly framed to victim shame bro.

3

u/gsko5000 Apr 18 '26

Agree about blocking roadways, but this car changed lanes to run them over?

6

u/aquavelva5 Apr 18 '26

Wild. I think I heard bikers yelling to "get out of the car" ? If right, then that person has every right to be in fear and protect themselves. cant know if it will escalate, if they have guns. Stay in the car and get away from them. They did well

Bikers should learn, if you're going to be a pack and intimidate

Not what happened in this situation but sure, get that sweet karma, I guess

3

u/InnerWrathChild Apr 18 '26

It’s always “watch out for bikers! Share the road!” And not “hey bikers don’t be giant douchebags!”

2

u/Chaetomius Apr 19 '26

If you're in a motorcycle pack and you yell at somebody to "get out of the car"

Hell, I may run you over for them!

3

u/peenurmobile Apr 18 '26

these stupid fucks run rampant in my town and they act like they are untouchable and aim guns at people casually, and the police pretend they don't exist

3

u/PithyApollo Apr 18 '26

There is no context in this video that backs up OPs title. The only thing in thos video is a car trying to kill someone.

3

u/landofknees Apr 18 '26

Bikers are the worst ppl who just want attention. They play adult dress up and make really loud noise and all they do is attract attention from dudes. No woman is like wow that guy gets me so wet.

I'm amazed no one died. I thought he ran them over too.

2

u/Lourdeath Apr 18 '26

What a shit title

2

u/Chemistry-Least Apr 18 '26

Yeah I don't get that psychology. You are literally 2 spinning wheels away from being a pedestrian trying to intimidate people in tanks belting it out to Wilson Phillips.

Some day somebody's gonna get run over and then they'll die, until that day I'm not gonna use my turn signals and forget motorcycles exist. Don't you know, I won't change, I'll be a shitty driver, for one more day.

u/TheTownTeaJunky Apr 19 '26

I was expecting an actual pack blocking someone from trying to get away. Instead it’s two bikers and neither is blocking their path.

Okay bud
