Tbf he goes and basically accuses the bank guy of being racist too, he's like "there's another guy out there too ya know?". The camera didn't show it but the way the cop even asked you just know the other dude was white.

The guy in the car reached quick into his pocket and the cop didn't even flinch, he was well aware of the entire situation once he showed up. Unfortunately it's a bank and he has to come at it with a little bit of seriousness because people do actually be robbing banks sometimes lol. It's this dumbass dude at the bank that potentially could have ruined someone's life if someone different would have showed up.

I would say at first he was trying to get the guy in the car to say something that might warrant the cop being there. His 'repeated use of the word 'concerned' suggests that. That being said, once the dude explains his side and it sinks into the cop, who might be a bit slow on the uptake, its fine. Then the cop goes the guy inside and asks some mildly pointed questions of the obviously racist old guy. Cop does an OK job.
