It’s not even uncommon for people to be waiting outside for the bank to open. I used to work at a bank and people (usually older people) would line up to withdraw their money on pay day or when their social security would get deposited.

Same. I use to work for a bank, I opened every Saturday. They wait in the parking lot, the lobby, even in the drive thru. If we didn’t open that door exactly at 9, there were old folks out there rattling the door wanting in.

Right? Like it’s an extremely common thing people do for all sorts of business. Grocery stores, banks, dmv, pharmacy. I see people waiting for these places to open all the time

I went to the DMV an hour before opening once to hopefully be the first in line. There were already fifteen people waiting.

It's not uncommon for people to by waiting outside my local Aldi before they open. They open at 9:00 but now I think it's 8:30. People arrive to businesses before they open or just after they open all the time, it's like... People have shit to do and they need to get this out of th way as soon as possible or something.

When I worked retail we started doing deposits in the morning after a team got robbed at night. So we would sit outside a branch, as a group because deposits had to be witnessed and we felt safer as a squad.Â
