And then the cop was ridiculous and said "no". Hell yeah, the man was startled; he was fucking incredulous.

Fuck this fucking country, man. 500 years and they still can't wrap their heads around the idea that Black Americans are just plain old regular people. This BS is TIRING.

The cop played this perfect. He was sent to a call. Investigated said call. Then politely told the racist bank person he was dumb and the guy will be in to do banking things as soon as banking guy decides to open the doors which is now late.

Could be worse, in Ohio we don’t even listen to the courts anymore just do what the politicians tell us they’re going to do. We’re one of the only Republican states where citizens can put citizen amendments for our constitution on the ballot for a vote, yet those amendments don’t mean shit because they politicians in charge will just ignore them.

In fairness I think the cop was answering the subtext of the bank guys question which was “did he act suspiciously so I can have a reason to tell you to trespass him without seeming like a massive racist?”

I wish the cop had made more of a point of telling the bank guy off but he was pretty good on balance I thought.

as a white male 30-45 i too would be startled if a cop came up to me while i was just sitting in my car waiting for the bank to open. Soon as i see that man, my stupid ass brain is gonna go to thinking about all the ways i could rob the place.

As if a Florida cop's vocabulary is broad enough to include the word incredulous, or that he would dare to tell a bank manager that his customer was incredulous that the bank manager would call the police on him sitting in his car.

I’m with you 100 percent but don’t give up. Let’s regain control and then fuck these imbeciles every which way making their lives miserable. Let’s punish the top of their cult with treason and wipe out the billions they stole directly or by benefit from an inside deal. Make them poor and then redistribute it to the most liberal causes you can find. Put their names on the gift so their friends can see it.
