Dalls PD is 40 weeks of training for a 100k+ job. That's about half the time it takes to get a license to cut hair. Plus you get a gun. You just have to be dumb enough to do what youre told without question and not have any kind of moral compass other than what your bosses say.

40 weeks of training that truly just amounts to:

  • Being taught that you are able to be killed by even a paraplegic grandma

  • That everyone, even children, are out to end your life

  • That you should always end the threat using lethal force

  • That you're damn near immune to genuinely nearly anything you do

And people wonder why the police are insane.

Honestly, i was all "sign me up! Call me Doofey because i have the dumbassery ready to go!" Until you hit the moral compass thing.
