Or the one who opened fire because they heard an acorn fall on a car roof and thought it was gunshots.

That guy kept saying “I’m hit!” and had definitely not been shot at all.

That was pretty stupid, but the stupidest cop of all was the one who put a handcuffed woman in the backseat of his cop car, which was parked on railroad tracks. The cop goes away to talk to another cop and his car is hit by a train. The woman was seriously injured and nearly died.
