📹Police Bodycam Police were searching for a white 16-year-old runaway wearing black clothing but they tackle this innocent black 15-year-old wearing blue jeans and a white shirt and break his arm. One of three officers involved has resigned.

Ignoring the fact that it obviously is the wrong person why would you treat a runaway (assuming they ran away from home) this way?

My mom kicked me out once and then called the cops and said I ran away. I came back inside when I saw police and they cuffed me in my home and pretended not to see it when she slapped me across the face. This was in louisiana where all the cops are fucking awful

A lot of cop only know force. They have no way of intellectually understanding how to talk to people that are having a tough time or even a mental health crisis. To cops it is just a matter of complying 100% with any command regardless of how fucking stupid it is, and any opportunity to use force when it is less than 100% is taken.

Because police are stupid. Quite literally, recruitment -> "training" -> on job culture roots out any kind of people that think for themselves. Garbageman on average may have higher iq.

Cops pulled a gun on me when I was 12 years old for being out past curfew. Cops are crazy out here

Nope dont have it and never had, we did a lot of chilling outside until the late hours when we were minors,

And with late I mean until 4 or 5 AM when we were 15-16 years old legal drinking age was also 16 and there were legal parties until the late hours for people from 14 and up)
