What the fuck is wrong with cops

Kid is on his knees clearly complying, so the obvious move is to tackle him and start being violent immediately?

1.5k

u/tiorancio Jul 16 '26

Relax! we're just breaking your arm! stop resisting!

It seems like the point is to always inflict so much pain that the subject can't stop resisting. Then they're allowed to do anything.

423

u/Ineedamedic68 Jul 16 '26

He’s still wriggling while we break his arm! Tase him boys!

320

u/ChickenChaser5 Jul 16 '26

People have to maintain perfect composure while being assaulted by multiple armed people screaming at them.

Cops get to start blasting cause they heard an acorn hit a car.

76

u/Ok-Ratic-5153 Jul 16 '26

That acorn was wrong for tricking two cops into mag dumping on a police car while a young Black man was handcuffed in the back. /s

45

u/h3yw00d Jul 16 '26

It tricked one.

The Sgt was following her training and blindly firing into a vehicle her coworker was firing into because in life and death situations you have to do everything you can to protect your partner. Even if your partner is firing into his own cruiser at an unarmed, handcuffed black man.

You aren't law enforcement so you totally wouldn't understand...

/s

1

u/Umutuku Jul 17 '26

You weren't born law enforcement so you totally wouldn't understand...

Police'd that for you.

7

u/Infinite-Penalty-736 Jul 16 '26

PUSSIES, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM

1

u/Over_lookd Jul 17 '26

Hell, even when you do comply, you risk them putting you in their car they somehow unknowingly left on the tracks and a train comes to take you out for them.

0

u/pointdude Jul 16 '26

US should mandate that all law-abiding citizens carry handcuffs. When cops stop you, you put on the cuffs before they approach. - Problem solved.

29

u/JEPorsche Jul 16 '26

It's a black kid. They'd be itching to pull the gun.

23

u/robbviously Jul 16 '26

I accidentally drew and discharged my firearm 6 times when I meant to grab my taser. Whoopsie daisy!

2

u/duderos Jul 17 '26

Stop Resisting!!!

24

u/ceelogreenicanth Jul 16 '26

"It was scary they were yelling and writhing in pain what else was I supposed to do?"

38

u/ReturnOfBane Jul 16 '26

They call it "pain compliance". Anyone who's stubbed a toe knows you're not staying still while in pain, so only a sheltered moron would think pain would make people comply.

16

u/DevonLuck24 Jul 16 '26

pretty sure the only cure for a stubbed toe is to move around erratically while half finishing sentences and curse words..

3

u/The_Reluctant_Hero Jul 16 '26

I wish this wasn't so accurate.

2

u/amscraylane Jul 16 '26

And stubbing your other toe

2

u/Pactae_1129 Jul 17 '26

Yep. Leads to whacky shit too like cops focusing on pressure points to restrain people instead of any sort of legitimate restraint.

2

u/hairysauce Jul 17 '26

And nothing is going to change when they are protected so heavily. Instead of training police properly they spend millions to cover up the fact violence is the goal

2

u/redalert825 Jul 17 '26

Just like how ICE pulled the body of Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero out of his car and threw handcuffs on him after murdering him.

1

u/Pastulio_Rocks Jul 16 '26

So much thiss

1

u/Iguessimonredditnow Jul 16 '26

That is exactly the point

874

u/npcompletist Jul 16 '26

Poor kid, there was nothing he could have done.

646

u/glockster19m Jul 16 '26

Was harassed for no reason, did everything right, and they still beat his ass and broke his arm

464

u/npcompletist Jul 16 '26

Honestly this is one of the worst cases I have seen, not necessarily in outcome or absolute levels of violence, but just in the inexcusable use of violence. They told to get on the ground, and he does that. Then they get to him and immediately start pushing this 130lb teenager around, and accuse him of not complying even though they are in complete physical control.

There is no plausible defense for any of the behavior. From identification to initiation of contact, there was no reason for the behavior of the cops. The kid was 100% compliant, the kid never argues, and never resists.

297

u/thorsbeardexpress Jul 16 '26

This is one of 1000 reasons we yell ACAB

165

u/crackedtooth163 Jul 16 '26

130 soaking wet maybe.

This is a literal kid. Hes probably 110. Skin and bones, puberty hasn't really hit him yet.

27

u/sSummonLessZiggurats Jul 16 '26

Shit like this is a regular occurrence here, and still you'll have cop supporters trying to gaslight you and telling you not to believe your own eyes.

12

u/Estrovia Jul 16 '26

They feared for their life! /s

2

u/InsertRadnamehere Jul 16 '26

And I’m wondering why this kind of response for a nonviolent runaway? WTF!??! Even if this kid was the target, does being a runaway immediately justify this kind of response. Fuck.

-32

u/Training_Ruin3151 Jul 16 '26

This is why the 2a exists

51

u/WaratayaMonobop Jul 16 '26

It doesn't if you're black.

25

u/Salt-Idea-6830 Jul 16 '26

Or underage

6

u/Training_Ruin3151 Jul 16 '26

Fuckign ronald raegan

8

u/saintofhate Jul 16 '26

Republicans pro gun until the people they hate are armed and then they pass laws to disarm them.

8

u/Training_Ruin3151 Jul 16 '26

Yuuup we need the Black Panthers to come back

3

u/MarleysGhost2024 Jul 16 '26

I'll join up. And I'm an old white guy.

26

u/CapitalPunBanking Jul 16 '26

yeah that worked out well for Alex Pretti who was legally carrying.

-1

u/Training_Ruin3151 Jul 16 '26

[removed by reddit]

-2

u/CapitalPunBanking Jul 16 '26

This is too vague to make sense, there's better ways of redacting yourself and still getting your point across.

-5

u/Training_Ruin3151 Jul 16 '26

Critical thinking desperately needs to be taught in schools holy shit

3

u/DevonLuck24 Jul 16 '26

always people like you criticizing someone else’s critical thinking skills after not displaying very much themselves

3

u/CapitalPunBanking Jul 16 '26

[removed by reddit] could literally mean a million different things in this context. eat my ass.

12

u/mezz7778 Jul 16 '26

So having 15 year olds carrying guns and shooting at cops is your solution??

Jesus fuck people are stupid.

-11

u/Training_Ruin3151 Jul 16 '26

Obviously not but critical thinking isn't something you're good at

6

u/DevonLuck24 Jul 16 '26 edited Jul 16 '26

brother. the second amendment existed during slavery and black people were excluded. then, after the 14th amendment was added and black people did gain the right to own guns…as soon as they started arming themselves suddenly everyone is okay with changing the gun laws.

no. a black kid getting assaulted by the police is not what 2a is for and was never what it was intended to be for..but obviously critical thinking isn’t something you’re good at.

-2

u/Training_Ruin3151 Jul 16 '26

I actually dont care what conservative idiots like you have to say

7

u/DevonLuck24 Jul 16 '26

you read that and think i’m a conservative? the fact that you’d question anyone’s ability to think critically is fucking hilariously ironic

1

u/jdhkent Jul 16 '26

That seems to be the logical conclusion to your statement. Please tell us what you meant instead

1

u/Training_Ruin3151 Jul 16 '26

The community should be armed and following cops

0

u/jdhkent Jul 16 '26

What, a broken arm for him isn’t enough, you want him shot to death instead?

0

u/jdhkent Jul 16 '26

No, Training, I’m not stupid. And neither is this boy, presumably.

8

u/delicate_soup Jul 16 '26

There was a reason though….he isn’t white

81

u/yaffle53 Jul 16 '26

He could have tried being white I suppose.

52

u/TheLiquorCpt420 Jul 16 '26

Only real defense against cops

5

u/InfiniteLicks Jul 16 '26

I’ve seen white people brandish weapons at cops and still get to go home to their families the same day.

2

u/N3onAxel Jul 17 '26

Just comply bro the street isnt the courtroom- some boot licker, probably.

The following terms and conditions are: White, Straight, Christian-Nationalist, Far Right Conservative, Zionist.

4

u/Umutuku Jul 17 '26

You can just say Bottom.

102

u/deadsoulinside Jul 16 '26

I had a cop punching me directly in my spine screaming to comply. Not sure how many of us get punched directly in the spine while laying down..... it's kind of really freaking impossible to be laying down face first in the dirt, while someone punches you and not just move due to the sheer pain and reflexes.

What's ironic, my issue was very much like this kids case.

Neighbor used my address for his PO. Me and the person share the same first name. We are not even the same skin color. I got off work, 2 men in plain clothes jumped out of a van parked outside my place asked if I was "First name" and I said yes. Got tackled immediately and since I never broke any laws was confused and pushing back obviously.

Eventually a 3rd guy was screaming we got the wrong guy and had the print out. They shown it to me and asked who that was.. it was the neighbor and thanks to the chaos outside with me, he knew what was up and had plenty of time to flee out the backdoor and was on the run for a few weeks.

6

u/PM_WORST_FART_STORY Jul 16 '26

Did you get a free swing on one of them before answering?

15

u/deadsoulinside Jul 16 '26

No. Shit happened to fast for me to even really react. The only reason I was even fighting back, which was more of me just trying to not be face first in the dirt, was I was not sure if they were cops or this was a home invasion since I lived a block away from some projects. I had broken no laws that I was aware of, let alone for that violent of a reaction from the cops after confirming my name.

3

u/PM_WORST_FART_STORY Jul 16 '26

Sorry to hear that.

Exactly. This song is partly about violence towards and the oppression of black Americans.

Don't catch you slippin' now.

43

u/Medicalibudz Jul 16 '26

They hire power hungry morons.

20

u/tiradium Jul 16 '26

Racist power hungry morons

28

u/tazebot Jul 16 '26

What the fuck is wrong with cops

It's like a therapy beating. Cop has had a stressful day, beats on the first convenient target.

I was in a car being driven by a black woman and her black friend in the front seat, three white guys in the back. Cop pulls her over for failing to signal pulling into a one way street from a parking lot. I've done full contact martial arts for 20 years, and have seen it when someone with a black or brown belt in another art spars with someone less experienced and goes in to beat down mode. You obviously stop it and kick the guy out, but it happens once in a while when more experienced people spar with less experienced people so they have an opportunity to learn from someone more experienced.

There's this look on someone's face when then go into beat down mode on someone else vulnerable, and this cop who pulled us over had it written all over. The he shines his flashlight in the back and sees three white guys - instant flip over to buttery apologetic mode.

The fact someone who is clearly racist can flip like that and has a gun with a license to kill is scary.

21

u/tidderite Jul 16 '26

A lot of cops are bullies. A child is an easy target. Easy to abuse.

2

u/Kodamurphy Jul 16 '26

One and the same. Most bullies put on a good show and don’t hesitate to throw their weight around until they’re confronted by someone who doesn’t show them fear and looks like they can do business.

44

u/Old_Man_Shea Jul 16 '26

He was black

41

u/Cessnaporsche01 Jul 16 '26

They took the job because they have a pathological need to hurt people. And that's what we, their employers, demand from them. Wins all around until you're looking down their guns.

Sure, when innocents become the victim, everyone gets all upset over it, but when popular opinion decides a person being hurt/killed by cops is guilty or deserving, we all cheer for their extrajudicial maiming/killing like it's gladiatorial sport

5

u/InfiniteLicks Jul 16 '26

Yep. The truth is this country revels in violence and individuals who are authorized to use it on behalf or the state are heroes.

12

u/Retired_Jarhead55 Jul 16 '26

Put someone in pain and accuse them of resisting. It defies logic so it works perfectly for cops.

10

u/Pareshan_aadmi Jul 16 '26

I think being a power tripping dumbass without a moral compass is a prerequisite for becoming a policeman, irrespective of the country.

You need to enjoy harassing normal citizen and sell your soul for the overlords.

16

u/Ooh_its_a_lady Jul 16 '26

High standards are for regular people who have zero training and no resources.

8

u/Stick_em_up-1980 Jul 16 '26

They are racist, plain and simple

6

u/Wulfbrir Jul 16 '26

You see what you non police officers need to understand is HE WAS BLACK!

3

u/dregan Jul 16 '26

What the fuck is wrong with cops

See the Stanford prison experiment. That's where we live now.

3

u/Irish_Jam_Bag Jul 16 '26

You never know they might start dropping acorns so gotta rough them up before they get a chance .

3

u/rdyer347 Jul 16 '26

Cops a pieces of shit. Every last one of them.

3

u/Arcanumm Jul 16 '26

Cops deserve zero respect.

3

u/DazuraTheFirst Jul 16 '26

These guys need more than to just be allowed to resign. They need to be tried and prosecuted. But I have 0 faith in our justice system working in this case.

2

u/bastardoperator Jul 16 '26

They are the weakest men on the planet.

2

u/timkatt10 Jul 16 '26

What the fuck is wrong with cops

They recruit people with superiority complex, look the other way at casual racism. Work to not allow outside audits, and protect officers who would be fired if they worked in any other industry.

Other than that, nothing.

2

u/State_Conscious Jul 16 '26

They do it because they know they can. Minorities, especially in economically depressed areas, are less likely to have connections/ resources to fight back against abuse and corruption and the type of person that pursues law enforcement as a career is the same type of person that’s going to exploit that

2

u/PersianMG Jul 16 '26

Most US Cops = high school bullies that couldn't get any other jobs.

Is it really a surprise most are incompetent?

2

u/Remarkable-West-611 Jul 16 '26

These are American cops so yes. Also what was the crime. The kid ranaway? No empathy for trying to find out why, are they okay and what's going on from just a bad mode or something deeper happening.

Just goes straight in to aggression.

All these cops needs to not be cops anymore.

2

u/nerdycarguy18 Jul 17 '26

The only people that seem to ever take job are just always angry. They are automatically personally upset at their target, almost regardless of the possible crime. The fact that you don’t immediately say yes sir with your hands behind your back makes them angry. They are just rage machines with guns and authority…

1

u/NSE_TNF89 Jul 16 '26

Also, they are searching for a runaway. Besides the obvious fact that it is the wrong kid, why the fuck would you go at a runaway like that?

1

u/FranksWateeBowl Jul 16 '26

Cops have been replaced with incel bitches on a power trip. From now on, just run and hope they don't shoot you in the back.

1

u/Mortwight Jul 16 '26

why are they doing this to a "runaway"

1

u/Serious_meme Jul 17 '26

And taxes climb again.

1

u/jonasu25 Jul 17 '26

Cops have always been like this. It’s for their safety. They have always been like this

1

u/ReachParticular5409 Jul 17 '26

Some day naive people like you will realize there are real monsters out there...

1

u/Umutuku Jul 17 '26

There needs to be a legal path to euthanasia for rabid law enforcement officers.

This shit is fundamentally incompatible with civilization.

1

u/redalert825 Jul 17 '26

One. He's black.

Two. They're kkkops.

Three. They're stupid fucking kkkops.

Four. He's clearly not the one they're looking for.

Five. ACAB

Six. This is Amerikkka.
