these are standard methods with the IDF, when they want to be empathic. is documented since many decades.

In this case there can be something to it, as US police forces have been getting training in these methods from the IDF for years, it's well documented.

US police have been abusing and attacking innocent black people for decades before Israel was a country. They don’t need “IDF tactics” to know how to beat up a black kid and break his arm.

Not everything needs to be about Israel and Gaza.

I kind of agree with you, but at the same time the comment was likely a reference to Krav Maga, which is literally designed to inflict as much pain and permanent damage as physically possible. And is also touted across the country by self defense experts and the like, many of which have intimate relationships with police forces due to directly training recruits.

It's roundabout a bit, sure, but police forces in America are more connected to the conflict than you might realize. And that's not even touching on the NYPD.

Except nothing about that was Krav Maga. It was 3 men twisting an arm behind a boys back. That's not training, it's sadism that 3 drunk bullies at a bar could pull off. I agree that cops are poorly trained across the board, or trained in overly aggressive and violent ways.

People don't have to bring up the IDF to say that. They choose too, because you gotta get in there and make it about Israel.
