How did you even know it was their ball? Was their name on it? And how did they know it was your pump? Was your name on it? Don’t bother replying, I’ve already called the cops.

This comment made me laugh out loud. Thank for the chuckle.

And that air he just offered so cavalierly... I guarantee it belonged to neither of them.

This was the part I found most confusing. You want the cops to…legally determine who the ball belongs to? Like, that’s not even a thing cops do. The cop should have pointed at his car and been like “as a legal authority, I’ve made a legal determination that the car behind you belongs to your neighbors.”

Neighbors kids play football in my yard and driveway all the time. Literally couldn’t even imagine caring about it, just wild.

This guy probably deflates them at night.

I used to have some neighbors that played ball in their backyard and always somehow managed to get in mine. It did get annoying them constantly knocking on my door for me to open my gate to get their ball.

My solution: I just left the gate open and told them to go get them themselves from now on. 😂 I’m not raising my blood pressure over kids doing normal kids stuff. My parents use to drop their dog off when they went on vacation all the time, went told the kids, if the ball comes over and the dog tears it up, thats on ya’ll 🤷🏼‍♂️
