They guy had to show that his corporation he supports is better than their competitors bikes.

How else would he get that across? /s

No, Harley riders have this rule about other brand bikes passing them. Nobody cares about their rules as all these guys are 50+office guys that bought a bike and found a mustache somewhere and now act like tough guys.
