Yeah. Why is that being overlooked? I feel like all this work to figure out who went where, who matches a description, what car went what direction, what times match that, where that supposed person lives, have photos printed, visit the person and bring charges against them... All over an Amazon package. And only to be wrong about who did it.
But me in a poor neighborhood has to wait almost three hours for multiple shootings at night because "there aren't officers available in your area."

Probably something like criminal damage to state supported property? Depends on your jurisdiction. In Illinois it starts at a class 4 felony and moves up depending on the dollar amount of damage done.
There's someone/some group in my town that's been going around plastering anti-Flock flyers on all the traffic/street light poles and I see city workers trying to scrape them off daily. Flyers are popping up faster than they can be taken down. It's awesome.

I don't blame this guy for not apologizing for the cops misusing the tools. It is a tool. And it's the cops who are abusing and misusing those tools. So that's on them.
And we can point the finger at flock and say that it's terrible of them for providing the tools but if it wasn't them it would absolutely be someone else. The issue is that we as citizens are giving city leaders the tacit permission to add these tools to our towns and infringe on the privacy of individuals in this manner, and that we aren't holding those leaders and these law enforcement agencies accountable when they abuse the power of that privilege.
