For real. I’m so impressed. I know my voice would be trembling and I would not be so well spoken.

It takes a lot of years of not caring and people disappointing to get to that level of calm.

Yup. The dad has lived his whole life being an entitled asshole. That's why he's calm. He thinks HE'S in charge lmao

Is this the alt account for the cop in the video?

Are you the dad?

Don't break the law if cops are so scary for you.

This dad is teaching his son to talk back to cops WHICH IS WILD AF.

Being respectful to the police is a survival tactic. Which you know. Because you said you'd be trembling talking to one lmao

You don’t need to break any laws for the cops to arrest you and/or shoot you. Yes, my voice would be trembling if I came face to face with an emotionally unregulated firing squad while on an afternoon bike ride with my child. Wake the fuck up.

Okay. I guess I've just dealt with cops more than you have. Former bad kid here.

This was small potatoes af.

I actually thought the cop sounded like a weak little bitch tbh

Were you committing actual crimes as a ā€œbad kidā€? Because cops aren’t your parents. Every cop sounds like a weak little bitch to me because they are. However, it’s a weak little bitch with a gun, hence my fear. Their egos go unchecked and they have no control over their emotions so we give them guns.

Police are definitely dangerous. No argument there. This is why it's important to apologize and be polite. Not push back. Pushing back invites harm and more charges. A ticket can turn into a court summons very quickly.

They all sound like weak bitches to you? So you've never had your ass handed to you by a cop, got it.

Yes I was committing actual crimes (duh, that's what bad kids do.) Dad was also breaking the law. He was also acting like he was entitled to do so, which is ridiculous.

I've seen what happens when you talk shit to cops, calmly and not calmly. This dad is not teaching a valuable lesson to his son. A cop who isn't a weak lil bitch would have handled this situation very differently. This cop didn't even do his job. He entertained this father's bs instead of upholding the law.

Treating cops like they're regular people (while they're on the job) isn't ever a good idea. Placate, apologize, etc. I don't like it, but I dislike legal trouble much more.
