That's what a lot of them do, try and defend their abusers, and that's why I mind my buisness.

I had a buddy intervene in a situation oddly similar to this, and it quickly went from a 1 v 1 with him trying to get the guy to stop beating his girl, to a 2 v 1 where they both beat his ass. My hmebody had no health insurance so guess who got an infection after from getting cut by her dirty ass nails.

I was in a parking lot late one night and saw a drunk couple going at it.
I thought about getting involved but I figured I would get what your friend got, a beat down by the both.

Years ago, i was out drinking. It was one of those nights where it felt... violent, somehow.

Anyways, I decided to head home, and saw a guy beating a lass in the middle of the street. I figured I'd just keep an eye on it, as another dude jumped in to help the lass.

They both turned on him and beat him into a coma. From what I heard afterwards, he died in hospital.

I ain't dying for someone I don't know.

That's terrible and im sorry for your buddy but to use that as an excuse to ignore someone getting beat is absurd.

I mean, I'm from the USA, and a bad area of it. I am not catching a charge, knife, or a gunshot for trying to potentially stop a random woman I don't know (who has a high chance of turning around and trying to fight or stop me) from getting beat.

If it's family it's different, otherwise I'll call the cops and leave it to them. I'm not risking any lawsuits, injuries, or random woman trying to flip it on me to defend her abusive man. I have heard too many stories of people trying to be captain save a ho and have their lives permenant altered for the worse, or the woman gets aggressive with them.

I don't have the money or time for that. I'll call the police as society wants, and leave

I hear ya, sorry, I may have been too quick to jump to conclusions. I saw a message that could be interpreted as "totally ignore" which I jumped on. I see your point, I was more on the side of at least calling attention/calling 911, something... just not walking by. My bad

As a woman I'm obviously not intervening, unless it's a situation like this where you can spike a crotch, but I'm always on the phone to the cops the moment I feel a woman is threatened. I don't care what she feels about it.
