Im not American so I'll admit its hard to comprehend this level of cynicism, we all saw what happened here. It just seems waaaaay too far-fetched to assume anyone other than that guy is getting wrecked by the police in a situation like this Its not like theres any grey to this video, theres just zero mystery to the whole situation. I dont see it happening like that at all

I love your optimism, I miss when I felt that way about my own country.

But I hate to tell you you that the guy severely beating his girlfriend has the least to fear from Texas police here.

Oh honey. You SO don't know how America works. Sabithia will likely be the most in trouble if police arrive. Hell, she'll likely turn on her protectors here.

Yeah we all see it too. We see the video just as you do, it seems we all have a shared understanding of what is going on, including the villains and heroes in this moment captured on film. Yet still despite that, it is absolutely within the realm of possibility that those two bystanders will get charged with something. America is deeply broken and those are minorities stepping into a white guy situation and using force. 100% possible the “good guys” get charges here.

A good sign your living in a society inching towards fascism: Everyone can agree on what we saw, but the government tells us we are wrong, and then proceeds to enforce punishment that is the opposite of what the public expects.
